another lonely christmas
yes it's august. yes this is a chrismas song. no i don't care.
i wrote this last december during a time where i was feeling particularly lonely. the holidays over the past few years have felt different. i don't know if it's the getting older or the depression (or both) but things have changed. it just don't feel like it used to. but last year specifically i was in a VERY rough place. i had recently lost friends again, i was dealing with feelings for someone, and also trying to get over those feelings. i'm happy to say that i don't think this year will be the same. i have met some people over the last few months that have started to feel like my second family. i'm a fairly reserved person ...

i use distrokid. basically you pay a subscription and you can upload songs through them. you just link whatever accounts you need to and fill out the information for the song when you upload it and they handle the rest. they upload it pretty much everywhere you can listen to music. i can help you out with it if you need, also i could produce it for you if you want.

@@notyourjeffanymore i can't remember what fret the capo was on, also the guitar was tuned down i think. but just move the capo around until the low e string is d sharp. or you can just play these shapes wherever you wanna put the capo lol. intro: C/G, F, C/G, G verses: C/G, F, C/G, F, FM chorus: C/G, E7, Am, Ammaj7, Am7, D7, G bridge: C/G, F, C/G, G that Am to D7 walkdown was hard to figure out lol. idk the names of the chords other than the Am off hand, i just know the shapes so i had to find a "what chord is this" site to figure it out lol. hope this helps, lmk if you need anything else :)
