@josepheckman8443 .... Use any ball you'd like really. Some people report a bit more spin (maybe a couple hundred rpm) when they try balls with multiple logos like a pix ball but it's not necessary. I use both at any time interchangeably.

@ ok i have been using the tp5 pix love that golf ball but i hit a chrome soft the other day and was getting way straighter and long results. Which i loved but if its not as accurate i will go back to the tp5 pix love

Thanks for tuning in! Sometimes gear affect and even pre contact disturbance of the turf system can trigger the ball to move before actual contact and those factors can affect the data and also ultimately how your club and ball meet.

Glad you got a refund… I have not seen that. Data has been good. @@leosgolf seems the attach angle and dynamic loft are quite a bit out in the driver shots. maybe with new firmware the numbers are more accurate since this video was made?

I like the view software better. Looks more professional. I feel like uneekor is number 3 in golf launch monitors Trackman over gcquad for the simulation, I think it looks the best out of the everyone Gcquad Eye xo 2 Mevo plus

My unit happens to be recessed so I built a sliding window over the enclosure box with aluminum channels and the regular plexiglass is just inserted like a sliding window. You will notice that the pieces leave a gap where the camera view area is. I simply used the calibration window to adjust the window opening spaces to the point just before I could see interference/blurring. I might cut out a rectangular area on the centre edges so I can have the pieces touch and the exposed area reduced.

Reliable from what I've experienced. In early days there was some confusion with LH/RH clubs and image rendered. I've seen discrepancies with varying turf types/depths causing bouncing or deflecting prior to impact that makes the number look incorrect compared to the video at impact.

The ST is a great machine for its price and for a single dexterity floor model but there is a difference in shot shape vs the VX because VX understands where on the face of the club you made contact, while the ST only measures the side spin of the ball. Gear affect is not taken into account with the ST.

@@leosgolf I thought that the ball flight is determined entirely by direction of launch and spin imparted, and that even the gear effect is due to the spin imparted on the ball. Anyway, ordered one yesterday. Cant wait.

@@deepakvrao you are correct but the actual path relative the starting point or angle changes due to where the club has stricken the ball and the angle it came from is something a ball only (Skytrak) can’t reference.

I have a ST+, placing the ball forward of the laser for high wedge shots do not always work.

Hi Chung, firstly, thank you for watching the video and commenting. Your commentary spot on. The Ron is still a fantastic unit for its price point. it just doesn’t deliver the proper spin numbers above all it makes the golfer look much better than they really are. Ironically, if you’re a handicap golfer, it probably can give you really good feedback, except for the small nuances in regards to knowing the difference between a slight fade and slight draw.. if you search the Internet, there are folks who claim that there is another connecter that’s been developed independently with side spin bias selectivity. I have a friend who we play online with and he uses it. His drives used to be mostly robotic in the past, but with this new interface, I do see balls going left and right more often as they probably should be for his playing level. Again, though you can’t beat hardware that simply measures sides spin, and actually can identify contact point on the club face plus approach angle or angle of attack.

Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes, GS Pro adds a penalty or distance deduction when you’re in sand but I like the feel of playing off a surface that adds the resistance. Anything under 25 yards simulates well. Longer distances might be giving results similar to hitting a lot of sand instead of picking out the ball. If I do pick out the ball or thin the shot, I notice little difference.

@@leosgolf do you think a graphic card GTX 1650 - 32GB of ram will run gspro in medium settings?

I think it may struggle with the 1650 especially if you’re running whatever integration software the launch monitor uses at the same time and it’s giving you data, and certainly if it’s giving you video feedback like with the VX. Your graphics card gets taxed as well when you send signal out to various monitors and they have different refresh rates..

Hi, yes dead simple, just buy the subscription with the open api version. Install it, open VX ProTee Labs software and after you’ve connected to the VX just go to the game tab, select GS Pro and click connect
