Flew northwest when I was little back in 2009. Unfortunately I don’t have that memory.
1:22 Is it northwest airlines flight 255?
RIP NWA
Happiness was watching DC-6s firing up on the tarmac for departure or a Lockheed Electra 188 passing overhead preparing for landing at nearby DTW.
初めて海外旅行、サイパンに行った時に乗ったのがノースウエスト✈️でした😊 その後も北京に行った時もそうでした。 懐かしく切ない😢 この動画が大好き💕
My mom worked Airlines for 27 Years
Too MANY MERGERS GOVT SHOULD HAVE NEVER AKLOWED THEM
To be fair it was either northwest, delta, or both that had to go
I worked for NWA for 11 years in Engineering. Delta took a lot of the progressive elements from Northwest when they swallowed.

The last paint job of Northwest after the "bowling shoe" . Working for Northwest for 16 yrs.. I heard a senior mechanic state: Now they are painting the airplanes the same color as an "overcast" sky.....
My sixth grader can't wait to join this band!
Varig,vasp,northwest,air tran,continental,TWA,pan am,valujet, we'll miss you...

I went to Eastern Michigan University from 1999-2005 which is 20 miles west of Detroit Metro Airport. Man I flew NW all the time especially to Las Vegas. I still miss them

2020 and can’t stop watching this video :’-)
Remember when it was Northwest Orient
I’m sorry but when I hear this song I can only think of Brenan singing it in step brothers
Wow
Continental, Northwest & US Airways all gobbled up by United, Delta and American Airlines respectively
Umm......oookayee
Delta should paint an aircraft with the NWA colors as a heritage livery
Goodbye Nortwest :/
This flight took me to USA in 2005. Departing from Changi Airport Singapore then to Narita Tokyo and getting custom check at Portland Airport OR.... Waiting sometime to continue my flight to Minneapolies and ended up at Bradley Airport, CT.... It was my first and last flight with Northwest.. iSome comments said that Northwest was merged to Delta, really? My second visit to USA was in 2016 for attending international conference... I departed from Amsterdam to Detroit, Michigan and flew back to Amsterdam by Delta as well.... It was unforgattable flight with it....
Gave me goosebumps watching! Another great US airline gone! Good airline and even better people! Worked in Seattle Flight Kitchen from 88-90 and Seattle reservations till 93. Would have stayed if not for layoffs. Miss this airline! Still work in the airline industry but have always thought NW, my first airline I’ve ever worked for was the best. Made so many good friends. Was very sad when the hanger and flight kitchen in Seattle were torn down. Remember being able to nonrev with 100 seats open quite a bit. Being 18 years old I used to dress up in coat and tie and take the late NW flight 158 usually a DC10. from SEA to MSP and nonrev back on NW 7 a 747 home. I just loved to fly and was an honor working for this great carrier!
Gregory, feeling is mutual. i was a F/A for NWA for 14 years ( way before your time) My first time to enter US was thru the training course at MSP and i still remember the motto from the training class in Tokyo was : Think like a man, work like a horse and act like a lady. One thing i regretted in my whole life was to quit flying for them when decided to become a full time mother at home. I still miss my ex-colleagues from Seattle, Chicago, Tokyo and Taipei. We were so proud of being a F/A for Northwest. Seeing pax deplane with a big smile on their face be it a long haul or a short hop was the greatest job satisfaction to me.
It sucks this country is losing its iconic Airlines, TWA, Pan Am, Eastern, and Northwest. I worked for TWA for over 20 years, my father was a pilot my mother was a flight attendant and it hurts every time one of these Airlines disappears
Northwest flew with A340s Not too long ago they Retired
Northwest never flew A340, they flew A320, and A330’s
