I like your channel very much. Great video and great series. Thanks and congrats. Today I had a fun time starting reading the 2d6 Realm rules. That's because of this series of yours.❤ Also, I know that that is not the point, but how do you like the pen you are using? It seems to be a Pilot model that is refillable and erasable. I've been using gel pens, finding them really satisfying. I'm trying to up my stationary game when it comes to having fun with TTRPGs, hence the question. I find that the right pens and pencils and paper make the hobby even more enjoyable. Thank you, sorry to bug you, V

I think I agree with you that normal houses dont require workers, just time and money and they generate workers that your other buildings need. That's what makes sense to me initially, at about 35mins in you take the cost of the farm from your silver instead of your gold I believe. Can you add more workers to the field to build it faster? I was wondering if that is an option in the system because you have 2 left over workers after the 2 you allocated to the farm.

Definitely a fun version of this game system. I too enjoy the card draws to help keep things mostly fresh in each room.

I reached a point on my D&D game (Mystara, Karameikos) where my player's PC (yes, singular) got land and title from the Duke Stefan Karameikos. I've been researching ways (besides what the Companion book from BECMI says) to manage the Barony. Found it! Great system and great video!!!❤

I do almost everything for 2d6 on a laptop. Keeps book keeping neat, easy to search PDFs for tables, and making maps in Gimp in real time is much cleaner. The only thing I do on table is roll the dice.

So after three videos - would you recommend this and 2d6 dungeon as a good system for long term playing or is it too much numbers to crunch or gets too “samey” quickly (the most common complaints I’ve heard but still want to buy…)

Can anyone explain why is he starting the tension die at 8 instead of 10? Did he fail a previous tension die roll?

Toby just recently clarified that each area has 100 points for building, not 100 per square. So it limits how many buildings can be stuck in each section. Great video. Thanks!!!

Since the shrubland is 7 plots, I think you also roll on the 5 plots or larger table?

I also picked up the spiral-bound edition of Realm (and Dungeon and Lairs!). I still travel with my zine-style PDF print-out bound by binder clips, but when I'm at home, there's nothing better than spreading out the spiral-bound books on the table! Much more efficient cross-referencing, imo.

You are absolutely right; it was a great idea to create a game around the existing dungeon generator card decks. I previously passed on getting these decks because I had so many other similar ones but I've now backed the current campaign thanks to the addition of the Die in a Dungeon rules.

It doesn't appeal to everyone, but those who like it really get into it. I'm currently knee-deep in the final playtesting and tweaking of the follow-up Mini Rogue: The Council, I humbly believe it's an even better game, while still keeping the same core gameplay which is good. I can't wait for players to get their hands on it. Keep up the great work-your channel is great!
