Love the bounder. You guys did an amazing job. Love your energy very positive. If your motorhome doesn't have it you should add a Banks Exhaust system for increased performance and gas mileage I have one on my 2000 bounder. And this thing just flies down the highway, probably faster than it should. Safe travels.

Beware. I was about to buy one of these on fb marketplace that was practically brand new. It was the 9' pontoon. However, the bladder had a cracked valve. I called the distributor (Classic Accessories) to purchase a new bladder, and they told me they were no longer available. That made the pontoon basically useless.

It survived better than my roof. Got shingles all over the yard. 8 -10 trees down. We were dead center as well. 13 days without power. Some here still without power.

Hey mate, sailor here, most durable option is Sunbrella. That's a brand name, it's basically resin impregnated, UV stavlbilised vynil fabric. Costs between 10-16$/meter depending if you go for the brand or off brand option. Will last years as long as you protect it from chafe and flapping about.

Maybe canvas from a old army tent. Or maybe a tarp. Roll of plastic.. or maybe palmetto branches but I don't know about water tight.

What would you use for a temporary treehouse roof if you could not afford a metal or shingle/roll roofing?

This really is a super easy way to build a treehouse by yourself without any help. It could be scaled way up or way down and still be very simple. Instead of it being a log cabin treehouse, it could be done with treated lumber and really last a long time! Aqua Joe potable hose..is not a potable hose. Bought one for my camper...and the water smells like chemicals after a month of using it every day. And if it smells like chemicals..chances are..it's leaching into the water.

The trailers across from the 'Sac-O-Suds' were put there just for the purpose of the movie itself! WHY ... do people keep assuming they were ALWAYS there? They were NEVER lived in!

If you want to know if a specific TP is ok for RV use put 3-4 squares of it in a Mason jar (or similar) add 7/8 or so of water and shake three times - 1 up, 1 down, 2 up... If the paper shreds into tiny little pieces it's plenty good for RV service. If it remains in sveral large pieces... I wouldn't even consider it for residential use. People never stop to think, "So, is it better to use normal, residential TP in a RV or do we need to use 3/4 of an entire roll of 'industrial strength' single ply with each 'visit'? I was a pro mechanic for 50 years and no matter what I told people they always tried to put their own spin on something instead of just doing what they were told. Then they either come back complaining or go off elsewhere and tell other people the previous person is stupid. It never fails.
