It’s definitely not as thick walled as a premium ice chest. I’d say it would be great for a day but in the sun but be prepared for half of the bottom to be water.

They were a great idea but they pop off way to easy. So I say either replace them or super glue them. The last thing you want is a expensive combo falling out of your yak 😬

The triple rod holders come as one piece and has pre drilled holes for mounting. I simply just drilled screws into the dry box and since its a double wall. The screws went through the outer wall and not the inner wall. Works great and stays water proof.
