German Anti-Tank Gun (38 Pak) - Nijmegen
During Operation Market Garden (1944) heavy fighting took place in Nijmegen for control over the bridges. From positions in the Hunnerpark SS Kampfgruppe Euling defended the Waal bridge. This caused a delay and Arnhem was lost. A German anti-tank gun (50mm 38 Pak) is still there.

The commemoration of the Princes Irene Brigade was attended by Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Minister of Defence Kajsa Ollongren. The main guest however was the last Dutch Normandy veteran Max Wolff. Respect!

This German PAK 43/41 Anti-tank gun (88mm) at the Dutch town of Susteren was gifted by its British liberators in 1945. It was the most powerful anti-tank gun of the Wehrmacht to see service in significant numbers but proved awkward to handle. It was also used in the Tiger II.

Stützpunktgruppe Mont St Frieux to the south of Boulogne was one of the most fortified areas in the Pas de Calais region. Stutzpunkt Höhe 158 (west) had a Würzburg radar, observation posts, heavy Flak bunkers, and artillery casemates to protect the flanks of this strategic hill.

These Sherman bunkers protected a floatable dam of the IJssel line, south of Arnhem. The line was intended to slow down a Soviet offensive during the 1950s and 1960s. By diverting the water flow from Germany, the entire IJssel Valley could be inundated to form a line of defence.

I grew up as a Moroccan in Morocco watching Belmondo movies in the seventies and eighties. Belmondo had incredible magic not only in acting as an actor , but the way he carried himself, his attitude, his posture, and his body language. All those ingredients are what differentiate the top from an average actor. the best Acting is instinctive, and Belmondo was born with those instincts. Peace to his soul
