A good explanation of the commonest way of how to connect the line to a dakron connector. Don't know why you cut the small loop though, I just leave it as a loop. Perhaps the video could have been shorter, that would have made it better. Good luck.

Great video mate, not many fishing RUclipsrs do this kind of video to help those new to pole fishing. I've been making my own pole rigs for over 2 decades now as I always found that the ones brought in the shops either used line or hooks that didn't suit what I wanted them for

I’m amazed at how fresh everything looks.

I use a baiting needle. Push through the stop, pull onto the wire loop of the wire stem.

I just wrap the line around the wire 3 times and slide it back on, will try the knot and see if it's easier, great tip tho, saves us from wasting even more plastic/rubber
