This song is totally me at a crossroads season in life right now. It's knowing I can't stay where I am or I'll regret holding on to seeds which could rot in my hands, but also knowing that once I sow the seeds, it's praying and cultivating. The world is throwing many signs in our faces these days, and I think I need to let fear go and trust the Lord once and for all. It's time to get to the deep end.

Heard this song first at my cousin Richard’s funeral on live stream from Australia last night. As someone who has experienced depression I was deeply moved. Only someone who has been in the dark place of depression can understand the pain and hopelessness that is felt. Jesus lifted me out of the mirey clay and put my feet on solid ground. This song depicts the coming out from darkness so beautifully. It also is a fitting image of moving from this world of struggle into the glorious presence of our saviour, when our time on earth is through. This is the hope that all who know Jesus have. It's a song we needed. Thank you Lucy for crafting this and bring these words to life musically. We really LOVED hearing this performed live at the Big Church Festival last weekend! This new album really deserves to be shared live and so it was brilliant to be there. Really great to see you and Tom do a duo-set! On my way home today I heard a testimony on Premier Praise from a believing lady who lost her daughter to illness despite believing in healing, even raising the dead. But their daughter died. This lady cried out so many “Why”s to God. But God asked her “If I was to answer you, is there an answer that would help?”. No, there wasn’t. Then God asked her to give her “why”s as an offering to Him. Man, I could hardly see to drive! Then they played this song…….. Soooo good. Thank you
