Finding the moist density of soil you use a wrong calculation dear.. W7-W8 is the amount of water in the soil ...you can get moist density by W7/V and dry density by W8/V
Actually, your point is right. However, the weight of the evaporating dish must be subtracted. Hence, moist unit weight (not density) is (W7-W6)/V, and dry unit weight is (W8-W6)/V.

did anyone notice that the V2 calculated by (W3-W5-Wc)/dry density of sand, is actually the volume of the hole plus the volume of the cone?!!!!
No. The V2 is the volume of the hole after digging 15-20 cm.
(wt. of wet soil - wt. of dry soil)/ (volume of hole) = moist unit wt.??? I think it should be (wt. of evaporating dish with wet soil - wt. of evaporating dish)/ (vol. of hole) = moist unit wt.
Andrian Abanilla noticed this too. Also, kg/m3 denotes the density of the sample. Very informative with the procedures tho.

At the time of calibration , sand should be poured in to the mold exactly like the way you perform in the field for a more accurate result.

Exactly
When you calibration the sand cone apparatus for the W3 it should be performed over the base plate to account for the small volume that is represented by the thickness of the plate. Its a small value but can make a big difference in the final value.
sorry to correct you man... the cone is lying on the soil not on the base plate...
