    We think the same about the learning experience, do you use telemetry? it is so fun. I've been running the Cusco Type RS 1.5way at 80% for 5 years now, it seems like the tuning/driving effort I did before before getting the LSD went to waste because it's a completely different car.

    • @NUAgeMotoring
      @NUAgeMotoring 23 дня назад

      I only have basic telemetry from the aim solo2, I would like to get a DL in the future so I can have more data but finer points only start to matter once all the larger gains are found. Have you ever had to rebuild your type RS?

    • @Iseenoobpeoples

      @@NUAgeMotoring No, it has been super strong, no perceivable changes in lock since install, I do like the rebuild options though disks can come treated and/or other designs are available. Was there a reason you went with those rails instead of the brides? I guess you needed it since it was universal for both yours and the passenger seat? OR does it make the seat sit lower than the brides? OR was it cheaper than the brides?

    • @NUAgeMotoring
      @NUAgeMotoring 24 дня назад

      To be honest I brought just the bride seat to 425motorsports to have them install it and the roll bar and those were the parts they had on hand that worked the best (planted is their own in-house brand and recaro sliders move more freely than buddy club/sparco)

    Just wanted to clarify something at 13:44, ARP bolt lube is NOT antiseize. DO NOT put antiseize or any other lube on your wheel studs, ARP bolt lube is designed to achieve accurate torque. If you use steel lug nuts (which you should for most use cases) you will be absolutely fine not using any lube on your wheel studs. Things that look different to me vs your prev video: Turn 1 to 2 is a more continuos arc with brake dorifto. This leads to more speed into 3 Turn 4: maybe a tighter entry, dur to not being able to set up as far right on exit of 3, due ro more speed. Turn 6: Set up wider so the car is more pointed into the turn shen you start braking. Also tracked out all the way on exit. Turn 8: Maybe earlier apex to get full power sooner? Turn 11: Lower minimum speed and faster rotation. Turn 12: Maybe lower min speed and straighter exit? Turn 13: Lower min speed into cleaner exit and more squirt toward 14. Turn 14: Less aggressive. You let the car rotate more to point toward 15 before mashing hard. In your prev video, you tried to use a lot of throttle early and got a lot of push. Turn 15: You were going in much faster due to cleaner 14. I think maybe you went deeper, used more brake to rotate thebcar harder, but kinda hard to tell. Looking at some speeds vs my data that aren't driver skill dependant, like apex of 9 to apex of 10, and apex of 12 to braking for 13 just after the III cones, the acceleration of our cars looks nearly identical. It's hard to tell other places because your apex speeds are generally higher than mine. 🙁 Even if I have a bit of advantage at high speed, I think you make that up with less weight, shorter gearing, and a better diff at lower speeds. And you should have a handling and braking advantage due to lower weight and more development time. In summary, there's no way you could just get in my car and do a 1:49, because my seat is fixed and you wouldn't be able to reach the pedals. 😂

If not, try heat cycling them twice when new, then take them out. My cars are a lot heavier (4,000+) with a bit more HP but these tire really last longer and are a bit more crisp in the corners when they have been heat cycled.

      RT660 might be better at autoX because warmup time is faster than CRS but RT660 wears faster and has less overall peak grip.

    200tw tires aren't the best for multi lap events. Perfect for autocross runs then cool and run again. Even co driving autoX will over heat them. 100TW for roadcoarse, your money though.

      That is highly dependent on the tire, RS4 are 200tw which easily drive 40+ laps straight. TW isn't the best indicator of lap to lap performance, tire compounds vary greatly between manufacturers.

    Analyzing your run compared to my latest runs in my NC1, I'm hitting the points right but braking far too much, and my tires are done. So much time lost. Might look at Nankang CRS V2s or 71RS, great drive as always Gabe!

    How do these new Nankangs compare vs RE71RS?

      Can you be more specific in which way? I can't speak on longevity yet.

      @@NUAgeMotoring in terms of overall grip and track performance, and also how long their operating window is before performance drop off? And overall preference. Thanks!

      @@LiquidTurbo About as fast if not a little faster than 71RS, longer operating window by about 2 laps. They have good response and feedback when fully warmed up and slip is very controllable but they are pricey compared to any other 200tw.
