adrian shephard was only 22, man. he's barely even lived his life and his most formative adult years were spent in the military. to have your barely even lived life fall out from under you like that and to tough it out to the very end, knowingly going on a suicide mission to keep the remainder of the faculty and your comrades safe, and only for that to fail as well, with the nuke set by the black ops exploding anyway and the man responsible locks you away for god knows how long. adrian deserved better than he got. way fucking better.
