Beautiful documentary by Sri.Ashish Khokar though only for 8 minutes. Very happy to see it on Smt.Rukmini Devi Athai's 120 birthday day. Thank you very much for sharing it. Wish we could see more of her photos as there won't be any film clippings as sadly they might have got spoilt also there wasn't much technology to preserve them. Atleast this we should cherish & preserve. My Namaskarams to our most revered Guru Athai🙏🙏🙏💐😊

Starting with an interesting and informative introduction by Shri Ashish Khokar, found the "Love songs of a Gipsy Spirit", Beautiful and refreshing. It's perfect with Choreography, music, dancing, lighting, costumes and backdrop ......all adding to the appreciation and enjoyment of the whole. Everyone has done a great job.! GoodWishes !

Beautifully choreographed, gracefully executed moving performance. A very detailed and insightful introduction explaining the Dakshin Gharana and the spirit of Mira.

The story of Meera Bai is what I have grown with hearing them everyday from my mother. While experiencing this dance drama it felt I got transported to that world. Most mesmerising show ever. It shows the heart of every dancer and the person behind this - our favourite most inspiring didi Jigyasa di! Thank you Didi for this breath taking experience!

What a seamless depiction of Mira bai's life. Each stage has been conceptualized so well and portrayed very well by the dancers. A great, soul stirring show indeed!

So beautiful!!!! I feel immersed totally and felt I am in vrindavan!!!! So natural an acting, beautiful rich costumes and the dance drama!!! Beyond words to explain.

I am one of the few who had the pleasure of watching this production live . It was surreal - and as good as a broadway production be it story telling or the exquisite and deft footwork - the lighting - the music - the riot of colours in the costumes ans the graceful and expressive dancers - watching the diff dancers portray the protagonist Meera - the villains so life like . What a treat to see it all over again ! Eagerly waiting to see the next production” Dancing Illusions in Stillness” premiere on the 30th. LuckyI am in Chennai! Thank you Smt.Jigyasa for choreographing this masterpiece - and kiddos to all the dancers , and to the Habitat for bringing it to a global audience . May your tribe grow.

Extraordinary work indeed..... Unusual theme, expressed effectively through brilliant choreography bringing out the flowing tenderness as well as the graceful vigour of Manipuri dance. Exellant performance by all the dancers who merge with the thought provoking traditional music .
