It's weird that, there have been at least that I know of, two times Lu Bu and Thor have had some sort of connection in series.

Just me, but 2:26-2:34 was so freaking funny. I know there are some Servants that shake off damage (MHXX shrugs off explosions), but Tezcatlipoca is next level and hilarious to boot.

Historically speaking, both men are actually interesting figures. Historical Lü Bu is nothing like his fictional counterpart, at all. Nonetheless, he is still an interesting figure who was basically an embodiment of chaos. He wasn't exactly a powerful duelist like the novel made him out to be, nor was he a wise commander, but the fact that a. The likes of Gao Shun and Zhang Liao swore their loyalties to him speaks volume of either his individual might or his charisma; and, b. Dong Zhuo, of all people, assigned him to be his personal bodyguard, and we all know how Dong Zhuo had literally everyone around him who wanted him dead, which means Lü Bu must have been a soldier formidable enough to be chosen by Dong Zhuo to personally protect him. Meanwhile, historical Tadakatsu Honda really WAS as badass as his video game counterpart despite the exaggeration. He singlehandedly faced around 50-60 of Hideyoshi Toyotomi's troops during the Battle of Komaki-Nagakute, and survived the battle without suffering any serious damage. The only questionable thing about Tadakatsu Honda is the fact that he never had any even a single scar from over a hundred battles, because it could mean he never went to the front line like Naomasa Ii did, but his feat in Komaki-Nagakute is still an impressive one.
feels bad for whoever reading that and believe it "Honda WAS as badass as his video game" and "Lu Bu was* nothing like his fictional counterpart."? Please stop joke and go back to history class. If anything, Lu Bu's historical battle feats put the likes of Honda to shame.

The japanese look so highly upon Lubu and his legends that they made him stronger than Honda in their own game.
I would love to see a Keiji and Lubu doing a horse race to see who has the fastest stead. And they must avoid being shot by gun men and jump over blade fences. Would been so fun :D

@@Y0sh1no5amsamurai warriors 2 was when Persian mare was introduced I believe and his speed was equal with Matzukaze who was also a little bit slower than red hair but Persian mare doesn’t have the power.

i remember playing both of the series seperatly before the Orochi crossover came out but god did i fantasize about lubu and Honda tadakatsu fight not to mention zhao yun and yukimura sanada like these four were my favorite but when the orochi crossover came god answered my prayers.

In my opinion, the word dynasty is far more superior than the word samurai. But my favorite character of all is honda tadakatsu.

After watching the Dynasty Warriors movie, I want more. A Dynasty Warriors series, a Samurai Warriors series. Then a cross over where we get to see this fight in live action.

@@bucksofyouth7452 I mean tbh Lubu hasnt gotten any harder himself in the newer games outside of Hulao Gate or Wei's first stage in DW 8. Then in Xiapi castle but im excluding that since you have to fight and beat him there.

I would've loved it if in the story LuBu didnt want to use the bracelet because of his pride and confidence in his might, rather he'd challenge any warrior who used the bracelets, I think it would've given more depth to his character.
For real though, he is usually portrayed as a character that does not like cheats and is willing to even challenge godlike beings such as Orochi to satiate his thirst for a challenge. But then he is using this hax bracelet nonchalantly.
I mean it can also be said that he respect the warrior he is facing and since he recognizes them as warriors he will use his full power to show respect

I remember buying warriors orochi to see a battle between those two. I got disappointed. In the first game honda got his own level at least but lu bu simply became a mid-boss in the final stage even when dong zhuo was pestering since almost the beggining of the story

I remember in DW 3-4 Lu Bu was the most cancerous opponent to have walked the earth. It’s as if I was playing a Dark Souls kind of boss fight. In my opinion, he’s the first, “Why do I hear boss music?” Warrior in gaming.
My first experience of Dynasty Warriors was as a young kid, never had the money to get new games myself so my cousin always had the cool games lmao. Playing DW3 split screen and he said "see that guy? Yeah don't attack him", naturally I ignored that advice, charged straight at him and quickly got my first ever death to Lu Bu. Memories!
@@Exilninja Yooo! Almost the same thing but my older brother introduced me to it, we were like “OH FRICK ITS LU BU! RUN!” But when we had no choice, we had to double team him but we still get our butts handed to. LOL

My first experience against Lu Bu was on Dynasty Warriors Advanced, and I remember as a newbie Zhao Yun getting bodied by him just trying to get free hits. So Guan Yu, Liu Bei and Zhang Fei would weaken him enough to retreat.

you know ever since their first encounter in warriors orochi everybody's been wanting to see an epic fight between Lu bu and Tadakatsu but every time it's been underwhelming this encounter was great but oh wait a minute lu bu had bracelet oh no plot device haha rant over
Rule number 1: don't pursue lu bu
Not if you're pretty much the lubu of your series (atleast since Samurai WArriors 1 xtreme legends since keiji was that in the vanilla game) or on easy mode or fighting him in the modern games
