Talking about the drop-ins, lack of progression in Bodyboarding and claiming that any kook can go and surf these waves well on a booger, without any experience... Back in the 70s I use to surf this wave by myself. I wouldn't dream of paddling out with those kitchen sinkers wreaking every wave. Surfing takes years to learn how to manage this type of wave and a mopper can go out there the first day and looken the place ugly.
You are completely wrong there boi, I respect surfing as a sport but i have to say Bodyboarding is alot harder to master than you think. so think twice before posting shitass comments like this...
HJFrench can’t agree more, I surf and boog, and I find em both challenging, I also watch loads of videos on both sports. Never seen a surfer bust a air off a 12ft wave. Also a lot more booths paddle in to waves then surfers rowing them

Man there is some douchy comments. If you drop in, you suck. If you can't ride, no matter what board it is, you suck. Why is it always the kooks who battle it out over who is better. Learn to ride and you'll find when its waves of consequence, no one gives a fuck what your riding.
true that, im from cronulla and the lineup at the island smashes the stereotype of the two disciplines not getting along. Is not what people ride that earns respect but the way people ride it and the out there...the drops they take.

Surfers are boring to watch, they can only do tech moves in tiny waves where as bodyboarders are now doing backflips and air reverses out of 12ft+waves.id rather see a bodyboarder doing a mental invert than a stick man moving through a barrel and then turning..my god..

rad edit :) just a thought, but if you haven't already, you should look up the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM, it's one of the best lenses for the 7D and if you don't have a tripod it captures more so you don't have to move the camera around :) but yeh sick edit :) haha
