Quite a nice Casio this is. Looks cool and the way it illuminates just the numbers is 10/10 decision though I could only dream getting it for merely 35 GBP lol thanks for review

This came in a nice hard plastic case. All my Casios have been cardboard cases ! There's too much criticism of the light. It does the job kinda, Just have to hit the button a couple of times. But that said you've really gotta be in a pitch black environment to have to use it.
@@dtuk22 it’s a minimalist watch with minimalist features. It wouldn’t be as quirky if the watch had an amazing light. That’s part of the nostalgia I think.
@@The-Casio-Man Indeed. I purchased the newly released version the WB 1ef. The ultra minimalist version with hardly any test on the face. Imo it's very underwhelming in the flesh. I've since returned it got a refund. Because it really needs a negative display to complete the stealthy minimalist aesthetic.

The teal color & those slots in the band make the watch.

I've heard that the light is bad for the negative display watches. Idk why Casio loves the negative display.
@@joniden2215 the light on this was is pretty poor, lights straight up the watch face, meaning it’s very hard to read the time, digitally or analog. The watch design is pretty cool though and very comfy on the wrist. 👍🏻
Watched this last night....went on argos and paid £3 postage and it came this morning. Fantastic watch and personally find the negative display easy to read.

@@The-Casio-Man picked up the illuminator negative display today from Argos for £16. A good watch is a good watch whether it costs £1 or £10k. It's about the enjoyment and not the value

Yeah they replace the EL with an LED now on the newer G,s but it’s weird because the packaging is still advertising that it has EL

Polywatch is brilliant! I actually use toothpaste for less obvious scratches like these. It's gentler than PW, which I use for the deeper stuff.

I have both the black one and the blue, i do intend to get this one and possibly the pepsi one. I would try and get all colour variants but i don't like the look of the green and gold ones.

Pretty sure this is the one I got from Argos a few months ago for about £26.99 I think it was. It's strange to start with having your wrist vibrate on the hour. The only downside is that the screen seems to be easily marked and I've only worn it about twice, I mean I've got some Polywatch but to have to use it as soon as this is a bit disappointing especially when I've done nothing to mark it in the first place.
@@MorbidCrow666 yeah I’m sure there’s some great deals Out there and some different colour combos for a great price. Haven’t given it a good trip out in the world yet but will watch out for how it fairs up with getting scratched easily. 👍🏻

I would choose this version over the multi-band 6/solar for the looks alone. The colors on this watch are amazing. That red G-shock logo is 🔥.

My MQ24 has served me well for the last two years. Super comfy, no issues with the strap and I can wear it for any ocasion. Casio never compromises on quality or reliability in their cheaper watches, which is why these are also their best sellers.

This was to be my first watch once I got bitten by Casio bug in September 2023, but it turned out to be one of the latest.. In this short journey, I’ve bought close to 50 Casios including 7 world timers - A500, AE1000, 1100,1200,1400,2000 and 3000 !

Beautiful watch. I got a blue EFV-140D as my first Edifice. Unfortunately, its crown got stuck while I was adjusting the date. It doesn’t rotate now and I’ve got to send it for repair 😞 First of my 40+ Casios to have a problem and my innings with Edifice hasn’t started well 😞

I’ve had my 800 in khaki for 2 yrs I use it for its Bluetooth step counter for my workouts it’s a great deal for 100.00 it syncs perfectly to my iPhone mine is like desert storm khaki perfectly sized

It's such a nice looking watch, but the light button's bumper throws off the whole design. And it would be as easy to fix as putting a bumper on the upper side of the screen.

In Europe the GW-6900 is hard to find and expensive. For the regular one prices are the lowest in the US.
