When are you doing stream next?
Brilliant video bro, can you share the location?
BhaLo anKeche 🌈👍👍
Great view from the train
A380 amazing..
I was in that plane it almost crashed 😢
I was in that plane
Such a safe lading. 🎉well done pilots. Love from pacific islands❤
Why is diverting due to weather an emergency?
Really not sure what or why, but very controlled and professionally flown.
Gatwick?
Yes it’s Gatwick.
Beautifully shot video. I've flown on the 380 several times and it amazes me that a plane of this size can even take off and fly, let alone fly that fast for more than 14 hrs 😅😅 Every time I see one take off or land, it just feels so unreal.
Absolutely incredible plane 👍🏼😀
It just doesn’t seem aerodynamic.
Is the 380 more likely to have problems with landing in crosswinds because of it's size?
Couldn’t really say but the tail fin is huge and like a sail. But the weight would be harder to shift. @sdtv has an amazing 380 crosswind landing. Worth checking out.
Where is that
Hi Marz001 it was Birmingham Airport
Only one plane diverted and a big one at that ?
Awesome !!! LIKE
Thank you! Cheers!
Hardly an emergency landing! it was simply diverted to another airport which happens very frequently in the autumn and winter. Even the A380 has to do go arounds every so often. I live near glidepath into Manchester and it has happened more than once here.
Thanks for the info Helen Weedon
is that the wind?
Good selection.. skilled landings .
Terrific!
Thanks Ian
Is that all you got mate. ?
There’s a few from the day on the channel. More to come 👍🏼😀
Please can you give me the location of spotting view point because I'm going to Gatwick to live stream soon ( cool vid ! )
Thanks for the feedback on the vid. Try the app what three words - ///boil.strut.fine Look forward to the stream. If I hit 1K subs, I intend to stream when I can. It's such a great way to share the day. Good luck :)
@@RunwaysTV thanks so much , do you know where I can park and is it free ?

Got my fingers and toes crossed 🤞🏼😆 Off to Heathrow soon. Have you been and got any tips for spotting locations?
What a beast of an Aircraft. A380 amazing.
Simply incredible to watch. Thanks for watching
Average takeoff/landing at San Diego Int’l.
Nope!! I wouldn’t!!!!
Nope!! I wouldn’t!!!
Two emirates planes declared emergency that day. One diverted to Birmingham and one to Gatwick. Several other planes landed at Heathrow but most of them had to do a go around. One of the planes went around twice and landed on the third attempt. Must have been so scary for the passengers.
Hi Alisa, thanks for telling us more what happened that day. I did also hear that a second Emirates was diverted to Birmingham and I think an Air India flight was also diverted to Gatwick that day. Some of the comments on here are from passengers saying they were definitely scared and from what I have read. The crews are incredible and had great skill.
Well done , 👏
Heathrow is the worst airport anyway
Sorry to hear you feel that way. I’m sure you have your reasons.
thank you
Why all of the firefighters for a fuel low emergency? Seems a bit silly.
Not sure, at the time I had no clue what was happening? They must have their reasons?
Emergency for what ?
Fuel emergency it had been circling for an hour I believe?
One has to say: Superb!
gak ada apa2 kok. gak ada insiden apa2. mulus2 aja
Was very controlled. True professionals
The weather in Europe is pure shit . All these idiots talking about global warming
why
Fuel emergency it had been circling for an hour I believe?
@@RunwaysTV what is fuel emergency

Why would this be an Emergency, when in aviation terms it was simply a Diversion for a reason. In this Case windspeed or Wind sheer. other reasons could have been Fog, visibility mechanical malfunction. This was not an emergency but like so many videos on YT, Titled to attract clicks (ClickBait),
this was the true reason One of the world's largest passenger planes declared an emergency in mid-air before diverting to Gatwick. Emirates flight EK1, from Dubai, was set to land at London Heathrow Airport yesterday morning but was diverted to Gatwick after it declared an emergency due to "adverse weather conditions" The Fire engines were a precautionary measure all aircraft that declare an “emergency”
Thanks for watching and taking the time to research the details of this event it’s much appreciated.
why it was moving on ground instead of runway?
It wasn’t - it exited the runway on one of the taxiways, and it just looked like it went off onto the grass because the grass is slightly higher than the taxiway. More deceiving because of the effect of the telephoto lense.
Must be the angle of the camera.
Emirates the best but this video is fake cause I was on the plan
Hi Paula, the fire engines were in front and behind the plane, so you may not have been aware of them..? Glad you all landed safely. Thanks for watching.
Even the A380 was being shifted in the wind. That was some landing. Great video.
Incredible skill by the pilots Mary, incredible to watch. Thanks for watching.
Typical of Emirates going down the sink now compared to years ago I avoid them now
Sorry to hear that. You must have your reasons.
How different were the landing conditions at Gatwick compared to Heathrow? Gatwick is located quite close to Heathrow so that I would expect weather conditions to be roughly the same. Great work by the pilots anyhow.
Great question, maybe one of the pilots or crew could answer this. I can assure you the gusts at ground level nearly sent the camera and tripod flying on several occasions. Great skill by the pilots in those conditions.
why is it moving over the grass? Is it normal?
tricked the eye🤣
@@willemh3319 not
we were followed by fire crews, so maybe we diverted off because of that, the cameras on the A380 picked up the fire engines behind us, that made us even more anxious at the time
@@dianeappleby8746 Thanks for the explanation… Were you the captain and will it cause damage to the airplane if it travels on grass?
I think it's due to perception. I can see what looks like a taxi way. It's possible the grass is slightly taller, which gives the impression the plane is moving on grass.
what was the emergency most of the times it is a misused wrongly or was it a precaution
Other comments here say they were running low on fuel. At the time I really wasn't sure what was happening as all I saw were the fire engines surrounding the plane and it holding just off the runway. Glad everyone was ok.
Well done pilots 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Such a mighty lady of the skies Well done pilots and staff
Oddly on this day the wind in Gatwick was as strong and planes were diverting from Gatwick. I think what surprised me most about this flight was that it was a fuel emergency. Generally speaking on days like this. From my own 10 years experience. You would take enough fuel for two approaches followed by a diversion to a more suitable aerodrome and perhaps even two approaches there. I think this A380 did one approach into heathrow.
That wing unbelievable engineering!!
