The 7 mil NEEDS to be counted as part of this year’s budget. Otherwise- it’s just a fee associated with winning a championship. Make it part of this year’s budget expenditures and suddenly there’s serious financial implications….

I think it's fine, all the teams complaining are the losers...obviously they will want to get an edge over the better teams. So either way it's going to be criticized. But I think for the future they should specificy and tighten up the rules some more so we dont have an issues trying to figure out what to do for a previous season that doesn't matter anymore.

Max was just on his own - will be champion. Well done George again! Like you not impressed with qual though

What did you think of the penalty's situation this weekend, did it affect your enjoyment of qualifying?

Found it an interesting race rather than exciting. Looked good for the merc's till a Honda engine car 🤨caused problems for them. Right call by Russell, but Max looked unbeatable

You’d think in this season, there would have been some announcements when G Rus was named head of strategy for Merc. What a huge gaff.

What did you think of the late drama?

Great race from verstapen, impressed again with Russell as well. Can't see verstapen being court now

What did you all think of our first race back after the summer break?

Sad to hear, but not unexpected. I hope he stays in F1 as they need his fun style. Alpine are a good bet & I hope he goes there

Where do you think Ricciardo will end up next year?

I am sorry williams are at the bottom of the constructors but i have been really happy with how Albon has settled into thd team and becoming the team leader. Credit for thst goes to Albon for maximiding everything out of car but i woulx also give credit to Williams for making him feel so welcome in the team. It is clear to see in the less pressured, more relaxed and family feel team environment at williams, Alex is really happy. It is so lovely to see him in a team where he feels comfortable after being chewed up and spat out by red bull abd having a year on tbe sidelines. Overall what williams lack in competitiveness, they know how to treat their drivers well.

How do you think the season has shaped up so far?

Glad he was ok. That was a scary crash.

I’ll admit, I never cheered for Seb and did cheer when he DNF’d….however, I did catch his very well put together announcement on IG this morning and I was impressed. Cheers Sebastian.

How will you remember Vettel after his retirement?

Enjoyed the whole race, so interesting with how things worked out. Great drive by Saniz & clearly the fastest driver all day. Great pass by Russell at the end, Great opportunity pass. I don't understand Farrari's strategy though it really looked crazy

Great race from Russell i thought & a harsh penalty given it was first lap. Nice to see the Farrari drive right by the red bull twice! So more close racing ahead

I’m pleased they handed out some 5 second hits… “Hey! Play nice!” That tight group of 6 or so mid pack cars racing both aggressively and skillfully was fun to see. Thanks for the breakdown.

Hey thanks. An excellent report as always. I don’t see all races - and my habit has become to avoid media until I’ve heard your work - then I go watch the clips. I’ll admit I saw a video title indicating a driver was fine after a huge shunt. So after your description, and knowing he was ok, I did leave your video for a second to see the accident, then I came back… terrific race- fun results- plenty of action, you did a great job with this one mate, thanks.

Some good races all round, impressed with the speed of the Merc's which was a real surprise. Always like Canada races

We’ve heard what RB says about his temperament… I’d be interested in Alpha Tauri’s opinion of him… and I bet Mercedes would be interested in that as well. It’s clear that G. Russel is the heir apparent for the primo Mercedes seat…. Would Gasly be content? Beyond moving to Merc, why would a move to AM, or Mc, be anything other than a lateral, mid-field, drive for him?

Where would you like to see Gasly end up?

I am really disappointed for Alex! Hope he bounces back strong. I feel all the talk about him blcoking Charles because of red bull. Alex is such a genuine guy, I don't think he is he type to be doing suspicious things
