My dad was rather eccentric as i was told by my brother, he was just dad to me and he called Battlestar Galactica the term (the floating logs) i loved it myself and there was nothing else like it on tv. I was a kid in thr 70's dealing with an angry young mother who is now the same except shes older and physically more dangerous. This was my escape from thr real world if only for a short time.

Fan of the old school Battlestar Galactica grew up watching it when it was on in 78. The reboot was terrible. I couldn’t even finish it. It was too much of a soap opera and it didn’t have the same family feel that the original had. Even with all the updated special effects. I just couldn’t get into it.

These images were more realistic and practical than the new ones

This was beautifully done, and I love the fresh look it gives to an old friend. It reminds me of video game cut scenes, and with the minimal use of human characters only one that i saw reduces that comparison. Those were magical days for me as a boy of 15 in the late 70's, I could hardly wait for Sunday night to come. Hard to believe there were only 20 episodes produced. When the show was canceled I was devastated and heartbroken and actually wrote to the network. They heard us and what we got was well Galactica 1980, a generic stripped down version of the show with strange new characters besides Adama with a beard and col Tigh. I was so excited but disappointed when it came back, but i watched anyway. The one character i really liked was the original Dr Z. I understand the importance of production costs but I think the network was looking a gift horse in the mouth and acted too quickly. If they would have given the show at least two seasons and let the show run its course instead of regretting their mistake and rushing Galactica 1980 to us only to be canceled after 10 episodes the show could have grown into a galactic hit. At 60 now I still miss the show. Thank You for your hard work on this video.

Spectacular ship views from every angle. Really nicely animated. Picture the original series updated with modern animation like was done for Star Trek TOS. Wouldn't take away from the story arc. Miss the original series and actors. They were always in a time crunch If they had today's resources am sure better scripts could have been produced.

Wow so many memories. I love this show. Great job most respect. All designs for ships like originals. The Vipers taking off. WOW did u used show images for the radars display? They look so real.

So... how did the raiders miss _Pegasus?_ I get the film's intent; the problem is that the film shows the raiders more-or-less come alongside _Galactica..._ and by this point either the raiders or the base star should be able to see the rear vessel. Meanwhile, the lead raider's crew continue to kibitz for a bit and notice the _Galactica_ powering back up. By the time they finish, the raiders ought to be more-or-less flying through _Pegasus,_ while the film would have us believe that she's still undetected. So, in short: it's pretty and all, but it annoys me that you teleported _Pegasus_ in when it was convenient for it to 'have been there all along.'

Looks great! Good work. Love the city models! The way 3D is advancing, I realize we no longer are bound by time, we can continue and create our own stories anyway we like. :) You can create human models using MakeHuman and even export them to your favorite animation software. If you need help with human characters let me know. I don't have much free time these days, but would love to help out wherever I can. :)

I remember the excitement and anticipation watching the armada cruise through space and the hope of a bright new future. Back then it was all real in my mind. I remember trying to search every TV guide available to find out when BattleStar Galactica was on, it was such a great time for Sci-Fi. Buck Rogers......I'm 52 now and wish I could remember better what else was on. I was so heartbroken when it ended. And I have to mention how bad ass the cylons were. This show was way ahead of it's time

Awesome! Especially the attention to detail from the original attack on the Colonies where the Cylon raiders were attacking totally random targets. Very nice touch. I never understood that from the original but I always let it go and just enjoyed the show.

I still love this series...they were on target great 'by your command'..great music..nylons and their saucers ships.red eye monving...I wish that original series could be back
