Great video! I do think you could do a comparison of the sterling MAJ 100 to the Earnie ball majesty? I have a sterling and I want to know if it’s worth it to save for an EBMM or if upgrading mine would be a better option.

Man having 4 knobs, a scratch plate, high output pickups, low guitar action, isn't termed as a con..... its personal preference.... a con is something wrong setup or guitar asthetics or defects....
@@aakaashbulani9237 I have a musicman Kaizen wich is the highest output pickups that I own and they dont tend to feed like the sire. The action is 1.2mm on top and 0.8mm on the last E string wich is lower than John Petrucci’s action and it plays like butter. I did not like the sire at all. It is not a guitar made for low action in my opinion and it buz crazy. But we all have different opinion
Great demo and review, nice playing! I’ve got the 7 string and I love it. 1/75. Such a fun guitar, the design is unlike anything else you’ll play very unique. Opened my eyes to other EBMM models and they are now in my top 3 guitar makers, love their stuff.

Bad work from ESP discontinuing this specific colour. I really wanted to get this guitar but they discontinued it before I could get it. Really wicked guitar though, I think the 12th fret marker looks sick in music videos.
I did not know they would take it off the market. Sad news 😮
You can still get it used. Plenty of them out there. Gonna pay a pretty penny for one though. Worth it.

The Kaizen is gorgeous. It feels and sounds great, big problem though. I noticed on several Kaizens which kind of is disturbing that the high E String keeps falling/slipping off the fretboard when ever a note on that string is fretted, especially when in the higher octave scale pasted the 12th fret. I saw this problem repeating itself on both 6 and 7 string models and at different stores. The guitar really fascinated me so I kept gravitating towards it at the stores. I was thinking "what is going on with this thing man, why does the high e string want to fly off into space off of the fretboard?" It was not because it is multi scale either. I have played other multiscale models and brands and none of them do this. The only way I can describe it is as if the high e string wants to slip off the fingerboard downward towards your lap/floor direction. There is some odd physics going on with that design and I really hope they fix it because the guitar is truly original and unique. Ernie Ball and Tosin are both icons. Sorry for the ramble, I just really love these guitar creations. So precious.
@@oldfriend327 Thanks for the comment ! For the E string thing it never happenned to me but it might be related to your play style, this guitar might not suit the way you play as we all play very differently

Recently picked up a 19 year old JP6. I can’t imagine a better built or better playing guitar. It’s still an amazing instrument.
It’s definitely 200% a tobacco sunburst ball family reserve petrucci guitar. The neck is mahogany with rosewood fretboard. Mahogany center toneblock in the body with alder wings. Quilted maple top. Rosewood can vary in color either lighter or darker… yours is just lighter.
The D-tuna can be adjusted. I own a Wolfgang set up with 0.11s, and mine works perfectly. There’s a very small hex wrench that comes with it for adjustment. Also, in order for the D-tuna to function properly, the tremolo must be “decked” against the body ie not “floating”. Hope this helps.
The problem is not the 0,11, its the 0.56. The trem was against the body as well. I tried everything and even went on multiple forums. Nothing worked
@@jimsgarage4937 Hmm… Maybe if you compromised just a little bit and tried something like a standard set of Ernie Ball Power Slinky 11-48s it might solve the problem(?)

@@jimsgarage4937 Dude - You’re gonna have tuning/intonation problems if you’re going that low whatever you do…
@@stevesmulski1462 not if its adjusted properly. All lf my guitars are setted in Drop C and I have no intonation problem. But if you are talking specificaly about the D tuna yes it wont be intonated properly

Did you swap out the pickups? Looks like Fishman pickups in the still shot photo of this video not the EGM on the actual guitar you are playing

Love it man! I have the LTD EC-1000 in Violet Andromeda and powered up by a pair of Fishman Fluence Moderns. Made in South Korea. Such a beautiful and striking guitar of outstanding quality as yours is there. The highly dynamic finish and Fishmans sold me. I also have an ESP Original Series Arrow in Black Andromeda which is powered by a pair of Seymour Duncan Blackouts. All in all, you can't ever go wrong with ESPs.
I own the Horizon NT Eii in cherry sunburst and that thing plays like a dream. Awesome craftsmanship as well
