Great job man thats exactly what I deduced as the issue, once i started having this problem. I took it to like 3 or 4 different mechanics, and everytime, either it still wouldnt work, or would only work for a day or two then end up going out again... one night i decided to take a look at it and it was so easy to see this was the issue, tweaked it a bit and got it working by myself, just came by to see if anyone else had encountered it and saw your video, didnt see anyone else covering this problem, so GOOD JOB, leading people in the right direction!

Its about time someone went into details on how these things work. My oven was warm after 20 minuets of preheat, but not hot. and no gas was flowing. I found out after exposing the heater that it was coming on , jusnt not a good even glow. so im gonna put in a new ignitor , hopefully that should do it.

What if it is doing to both the top and over? Also at random.

Anyone know where I can buy that spring? Mine is broken.

Thanks for this video. Notes on our repair. Unplug or breaker the machine off before anything. The drain pump he describes is the first thing to check, all done from under the front of the machine. Be really careful with the locking drain pump release tab, it is more fragile than it should be. If you have a shop vac, you can disconnect the flexible washer drain hose from your disposal, and vacuum it out, making as tight a seal as you can between the small drain hose and the larger shopvac hose. You need to make sure the drain hose is clear, as blockage may be causing the drain pump to overheat and fault out. You can get the part he shows for $23 on eBay, and $73 from Whirlpool direct. Thank you for this video, I made sure to check the impeller gap there to make sure we didn't have something crazy like a rubber band on there. Someone asked if there is supposed to be resistance. In our case, the blades rotate without too much force, but maybe "resistance intervals" at every 1/4 turn or so. I believe this has to do with how impellers are made. Could be wrong! But ours too had that resistance.

I have a unbalanced load and it keeps shutting off it won't spin out after watching your diagnostic video I did it ran it through diagnostics I know it's like 15 green and five red I believe but I can't find the damn codes to read what that means but I had to repair guy come out after hundreds of dollars later I'm told the circuit boards Friday there is a spot on and I can see that I'm told to sell it and get rid of it and get a new one however if it is in fact just a dream clog that would be okay I can fix that but can you show me how to get to the damn thing I got a stackable for it's a top load and please help me

While not my first choice, the fuse is behind a grille which I cannot by myself uninstall the unit. I took a tin snips and removed (5) of the bars, attaining access to the blown fuse. The problem is in the interlock, I replaced the normally closed middle switch a year ago. The magnetron is in a separate section of the cabinet, I doubt sperous radiation was limited by the open grille, that I opened more.

Same! Bought the entire set and hated the microwave from day one. Looks nice but terrible design. Just bought a fuse and saw this video but the video does not show part number or how to do it. Might have to get a new one. Also FYI the refrigerator door panels go all lumpy and look like there are dents all over when we are super careful. It looks awful and I saw a video years ago where a repair tech had told the customer they fill the doors and there was a problem on these. Never buying Frigidaire again.

I want to thank you for your video and explanation of what to do. I had to much ice in my ice bin that my dispenser was dispensing crushed ice in cube mode. I had called Frigidaire a few years back about this problem and that is when you were able to get someone here, in the USA. Now you CANT 🤬. This wonderful woman, told me exactly what to do, as mentioned here in the video, but I had forgotten. I called Frigidaire this afternoon and I was told buy an overseas person, to hold down the cube bottom for 3 seconds and wait 30 minutes. I told him that this is not the procedure after he supposedly tried to get tech support for me. While on hold, I called Frigidaire from the husbands phone, but this time I was told to put the ice button in crush mode, hold the dispenser for two minutes, and repeat twice more. The ice bucket was removed during this process. After replacing the ice bucket, crushed ice still came from the cubed. I told this person as well, that this wasn’t what we did the last time I had called in. They just wanted me to call for a repair tech. I kept asking why you can’t help like the person did 6 years ago? Well I ended up googling my predicament and came across this wonderful video, even though my fridge is a bit older, the solution was still the same. . I called back Frigidaire to make a complaint about the other two customer service tech sales persons, and mentioned that if anyone else should call about the same situation to let them know who to fix it and now the company owes me $179 for a 5 minute training session. This is what it would have cost me for repair to just put one foot in my door
