Jimmy Buffett - A Pirate Looks At Forty 2016 (Alpine Valley)
My dad took me to my first Buffett concert at Summerfest in Milwaukee back in 1992. 24 years later we went together and saw him again at Alpine Valley. "Pirate" was always my dad's favorite song and you can see the emotion it brought out in him when I panned over to him. Jimmy was in great form and put on a truly wonderful and memorable show. Fins Up :)

Jimmy ❤ Jerry Jeff ❤ Prine❤ Hank❤
I saw Jerry Jeff in the early 80's in New Orleans and Jimmy jumped up on stage and did a couple of songs. It was an amazing experience!
OH! You didn't get to be a pirate?? You got to become a MILLIONAIRE!! PISS OFF!! OH boo hoo hoo!! some of us were just trying to STAY ALIVE!!
Rest in peace jimmy
I turn 41 tomorrow. I love both these men. JJW raised me and JB caught my attention in my early 30s. Both legends.

Its the desert fires are natural& they should never build there imho
To bad, he voted for Hillary, what a shame to great artist!
He was high all his life. What you expect.
@@Annie-t7m9w I saw him play one night on the intracoastal in North Miami at a little bar his buddie owned. No one would believe me at work but there he was.
According to Scott Atwell's book, Phil Clark died in November of '85.
Jimmy Buffet was a billionaire when he died. I figured he would be wealthy. But that's Paul McCartney level wealth. His fortune came from more than just singing drinking songs though.
A part of me died when these two passed
Shut-up dude. Just play the song. Jesus
he truly is the greatest mobilian. drunk on a boat
travis scott is way better
It is sad that all 3 of these threefriends have passed

My dad was a big weed smugglers in the 70s and 80s.I heard stories about Phile Clark working for my dad's shrimp boat in Florida. He had a buzz walking across shrimp boats in Key West and hit his head, and drowned. My late dad was Bunny Morse of the Gentleman smugglers and Operation Jackpot.. Love Jimmy Buffett, Listen his records since I could talk..
Wish he was still here and I could see him👍❤️
Smoked a fatty at Kings Dominion with Jimmy...RIP CAPT.JIMMY

I lost my best friend due to drug addiction, this song will always remind me of him. Rest in peace my brother, you'll always live in my heart and memories and through your children and grandchildren.
This song has brought a lot of famous people back from the brink. Lovely lyrics.
What does he say at :50? Some island??
Fingers .adds a lot to this song.
Glad i found this
His voice just defines a cool salt wind 20 miles out, sinking cut bait to the bottom and drinking a cold beer with the sun on full blast!💥
I loved you for ever.
Love is last song to bubbles up
I love the line " I made enough money to buy Miami but pissed it away so fast".
I love this song and this acoutic version is the most beautiful and brings out everything this song is meant to be. Soulful life of ours that aims for the most exciting things but sometime too late or too wrong, but sail on..
RIP.....Brother
Thank you , Jimmy 🤪✌️
There will be another Loved him and his music forever. My heart is broken at his passing
Man, dude did it his own way. Not the best picker, not the best singer, but could make you FEEL something. Lord, what a blessing he was to us. Thank you, Jimmy!

It’s been a year since your passing Jimmy and it’s not any easier. I miss both you and Jerry! Say hi to Phil for us🌴
GOD you're missed 😞
Great song
We miss you terribly pirate. RIP Brother.
His message was get wasted on margaritas at the beach and lie in the sand. Works until you get a fatal case of skin cancer.
Ive got a question thats been bothering me so, Jimmy did you ever pay the mini mart back?
I really like AIDS burger in paradise, probably my all time favorite Buffet song
