Today I ride Amtrak 587 from San Juan Capistrano to Fullerton and ride the recently delivered Comet 1B cars from the San Joaquin’s. Just to give a little commentary since I didn’t talk in the video, the comet cars weren’t as bad as I thought they were going to be. The cars although still having San Joaquin stickers and plaques everywhere, the cars had functioning bathrooms. 2x2 tables per car. ...

The GE P32-8BWH was a locomotive built for the national passenger company “Amtrak” in 1991 as a stop gap measure between the production of the GE P40DC “Genesis” Series. 20 of these locomotives were built and most of them still run to this day.
