We torched a fuel line while removing a frame and caught it on fire twice!!!

I couldn't see exactly where you hooked the water hose up? I have the same boat...I see a flat plastic cap and a long metal tube...which one do I hook the hose up to? Thank you for the video
U ever take the grate off the bottom of that thing? Got the rope wrapped around the shaft today. There seems too be back up nuts on the other side bolts, holding the grate on there. They are right under the engine. Hard to reach the back up nuts
Honestly probably way easier to pull the impeller pump off it’s like 6 bolts total.

Can that wake tower be folded? I just bought one and the manual says it can but I don't see a release.
is that the same way to flush for the challenger?
My Sportster with a 951 rotax stall out after hard turns, runs great outside of that. Any thoughts?
I am not familiar with the rotax motors. If it’s carbureted it could be fuel starving.
Explain to me why the motor has to be running before you turn on the watering and turn off the water before you kill it
When in the water the drive impeller actually causes the flow of water through the heat exchanger and also flows water into the exhaust after it is left the motor. Flow doesn’t happen when the engine is off so there is no issue with this under normal operating conditions. When we flush the motor, we want to replicate this because there is a small chance (because of a lack of exhaust gas flow) that the water could end up flowing up the exhaust and into the motor.

That's where a trolling motor comes in, on the shallows so none of the weeds or gravel get in.

My sportster is overheating...the engine coolant is below the cool line, should I refill the coolant, or do you think it could be another issue such as the intake? Thanks for the help!
Might be oil pump, or oil coolant, either ways $$$$$$

Jn Schrick yeah. Definitely ask when the jet pump was last rebuilt. When I bought mine I didn’t think of it and the drive impeller and the seal for it needed to be replaced.
Does this work for a twin engine sportster 1800?
I'm asking the same thing,not much on here for the twin 1800.
@@youronlyhereoncebigcat5310 so this will work with the sportster 1800. Mine is long gone now but I did flush them and this is how I did it. But like he mentioned, engine start, water on, water off engine off.

I can’t find the house connection on the baot
cuvo219 it’s just to the right of the jet pump. If you are standing behind it. It might have a quick disconnect for a garden hose threaded into it so it will probably look different. I’ll make a video about this soon.

it is good to meet the cool people who with the same boat here!!! seadoo sportster buddies!! i just recently did the compressions test before i start fog oil the engine, all three compression are 95, i think the normal compression should be 120 to 130 right?
Berry Guam yeah it is. Lol. That seams a little bit low. Did you test it with the throttle open? As long as they are all the same that’s what’s most important. It is a low compression engine. So 100-120 is normal. So it’s not to far off.

Berry Guam yeah I did. There was Little Rock that had gone down the hose. I had to take the ball off at the back of the boat to get it out. The Little Rocks held the valve open.
