Yes they the tailed beasts are made up of Chakra. Each one is a piece of the ten tails. However, it was revealed that the nine tails is the one with the most chakra. Even with only half of his chakra, the nine tails has more chakra then the other eight tailed beasts.

@@hidedasausage I thought the 10 Tails chakra was split in half. With one half divided up between the first 8 tailed beasts and the other half was given all to Kurama. Given this, if the other beasts all fired everything they had at Kurama, he should be able to cancel out their attack with everything he has.

That rasen shuriken is overpowered a shit even the 9 tails said what power is this but what amazes me is how he tank all of that an still had enough energy to realize a ball that big to blow him to pieces now you get why everyone wants to control him that’s massive chakra to use

@@konohahurricane07 They kind of are. When Kaguya transformed into the Juubi and her chakra was split into the 9 tailed beasts 50% of it was divided among the first 8 while the other 50% was all housed in Kurama.
