Usually the Ford 5000 is so reliable both the pre force & force 5000 14,000 hours especially the manual 8 speed box, Good to see all the repairs when you can find the information you need 🇬🇧🇮🇪.

Good evening, I've been raising calves for a few years now. I've been getting calves off of a few small local dairies but I'm getting to the point that they can't supply me anymore. I've been looking for some suppliers of baby calves but can't seem to find any. Wouldn't know if you by chance knew anyone I could get in contact with to get some? thanks

Silo gas was always a brown in color and was heavier than air and always hung in a cloud just above the floor if the barn was attached next to the silo. If you saw it, you opened up all the barn doors fast and ran out of the barn. Learned that when I was 9 or 10 yrs old from my parents.

child that waving camera kills us! change the breed, throw them into rotational grazing pastures (no cost to very little cost - except for purchase price) and your profit will be expedentially higher - still cost your time, energy and effort...Best wishes.

Is there any money in hogs? We tried raising hogs a few years back as long as we sold the piglets we made a little bit. If we finished it was almost a break even. Or a loss.

How to source calves? Go direct to the farmers especially the mid size guys. Show up with cash and a cap on a pickup. Extra lucrative on holiday weeks when the local sale barn is closed.

I really enjoyed your story. I was born and raised in western n.c. here in the smoky mtns. My dad had a 150 Massey Ferguson tractor for years and years. I spent countless hours behind that 150 on a tobacco setter. Man that sun sure gets hot when you're on that setter all day. Me and my sister loved when dad would raise the setter to turn the tractor around at the end of the rows and that good cold water from the water barrel would slosh out and run down our backs, man it felt good. We didn't care that the water had chemils like ridomil mixed in it. After a full day setting tobacco we would be sunburnt and wore out. One evening when we finished a field, dad raised the setter up, turned the tractor around, it was time to rest a minute while getting a ride back to the barn... I decided to prank my sister, I bet her could outrun her back to the barn... So on the count of three she jumped off the setter and took off at a dead run and I just stayed on the setter enjoying my ride back to the barn. She was so mad she wanted to kill me. So many of my childhood memories included a Massey Ferguson tractor in a tobacco field or a field of greasy beans. One of the best smells in the world is a barn hanging full of burley tobacco. Listening to your story brought back lots of good memories. Thanks!
