Proco Rat original 1979 (V.1-B) vs original 1987 Balck face (no LED hole). The original 1979 Bigbox (V.1-A) has the same circuit and same parts as the Fringe Logo. And the original 1987 blackface doesn’t have the LED hole. This one is a white PCB some parts are the same as the white face and this one uses the Motorola LM308N, not a National.

I have never been interested in the BluesBreaker before till I borrowed it from my friend and I was really surprised by the sound so different what I heard from any clone of BluesBreaker style and many video clips. silver screw sounds with more pronounced low frequencies, which makes its sound warmer, whereas Taiwan ver. sounds more brightly, due to pronounced high frequencies. but both sound great

Close mic your amp next time- the string noise and room ambient sounds are as loud as the pedals.

Negative center. 18V.
Yes it is a good sounding pedal, good depth and balanced from high to mid to low. In my channel I uploaded sound comparisons of these 3 Marshall pedals - BluesBreaker, DriveMaster, ShredMaster. I love them all.

This is what the modern dual drive pedals and clone pedals miss. The old school more realistic Marshall amp tones like this pedal does. The Master Drive pedal is real good also, it is the same as the Marshall Guv'nor, they just changed the name of it to Master Drive.
