Did you follow everything i did in the vid correctly?

No it turns out I facked up. I didn't even know that impaler's glory is a 3.4dmg multiplier. I was only switching Horus with Arahbaki to quickly get the pierce effect on him and immediately jump to strategize that's all I did. No wonder why Satan felt so freaking spongy. I'm not going to try to understand game mechanics anymore it's too complicated for me

@@ayberkmavigoz3889 either you dps and kill him in one turn or just survive. If the boss armageddon, check you equipment for repels. Nulls are fine, repels (and i assume absorb) triggers the armageddon

@@acidgod907 yeah i later found out if anybody in the party have a repelling equipment, boss is just wiping out the whole party in 1 turn everytime

@@Caioa14 royal berserker final skill is Noble Berserker Soul which if he crit, he wont spend a turn

@@acidgod907 btw small question, what is the % chance of evading an attack. I know that agility and luck plays a role in it but is it possible to 100% evade like your luck critical build?

@@ZeroAbsolute21 yes. Evasion is capped at 99%. Shadow Dweller from assassin (mono lineage makes it 20 evasion) and Third Eye from ninja helps a lot. With mono lineage using Shadow Dweller and Third Eye from ninja, yoh can get away even without full sukukaja and sukunda stack actually. Also armor and subarmor evasion are also important as well. Best dodger is Heismay Royal Thief because of insta 3 stack of sukukaja and Basilio because of his bond abilities. Edit: I forgot to add that agility isn't as important as you think on dodging. It plays a role yes but its mostly what I listed is the one thats gonna be the most impactful.

@@acidgod907 Basilio is a better dodger when fighting humans like the final boss. very handy to steal all his turns with basilio for free basically

Tbf at this point in the game it’s easily possible to grind that amount of money

Its not cheap for sure but i finished my first run with over 1 mil and thats with using the merchants attacks quite a bit. Couple that with being able to sell magla and money in this game loses all meaning.

It instantly kills you after a curtain number of turns so you can't cheese it early in ng+ with items for some reason unless you use an absurd amount of spoonfuls.

He's not really a gimmick boss, just a very powerful one with lots of ways to cope with your nonsense. The first turn kills basically refuse to play his game so that you're not left in a buff/debuff war and picking people off the ground. The only real gimmick ones are the Plague dragon(drops your max HP to 300, basically forcing you to keep the buff at +3/-3 to avoid constantly dying) and Fire(has the Fire Breath every 5 turns gimmick from Etrian Odyssey, but it does 9999 damage so if you can make him weak to fire while having 4 makarakarns up, you can make him self-destruct). Metaphor is pretty good at avoiding gimmicks in the bosses. Even the Elegy/Shadow Protagonist boss is very lenient by series standards, only nuking you if you have Drain/Repel on your equipment.

His gimmick is he raises his turn count after suffering enough damage, maxing out at 8 turns. At 8 turns, he max debuffs your party, max buffs himself, charges and concentrates himself, casts a repelling barrier, then hits you with Megidoloans. Heismay drawing attacks with Royal Thief works really well, as well as having third eye on everyone.
