The key point is to not angle too much the car throughout the entire corner plus the Crinale Kid is the only Kid car that can pull it off. For starters, the right arrow is constantly held and the entry point of the corner must be as close as possible to the wall and while not drifting, otherwise you're gonna hit the grass in the end. For the first half of it I used the nitro to prevent the Crinale from not angling while for the second half (starting when the corner becomes really sharp and the car trembles a bit) I brake a bit without releasing the accelerator (in the case of lap 1 I hit the wall making me lose the amount of speed I needed so no need to brake) and continue holding the right arrow until the car is angled just a little bit but not too much or else the back of the car crashes on the tunnel wall. If everything is done correctly it's possible to exit the corner at 380. 370 or lower as exit speed is more safe. If you have more questions let me know, hope I helped!

@@LeosKlein I instantly switched from Angelus to Crinale and did the corner at the 1st try, thanks for answering! Doing this corner with keyboard is difficult though.

Granted you already know the passwords to unlock Ladylove, Strider and Mr.Heli (especially the first two) and complete every stage at least once (3 runs for all 6-X and F-X stages, 7 runs minimum for all 2-X stages) in approximately 10 hours IGT of using the right ships you can have half of the roster. The problem comes when you have to obtain the final ships of some lines (like Leo II) where it takes a huge amount of hours, even 2 hours IGT per ship. On average 70-100 hours IGT are needed to unlock everything

@@EliteBadFrog Angelus Kid has a better 2nd gear start (can reach 324km/h, while Crinale Kid only 290), plus it has a slower speed loss after a nitro charge ends, allowing you to stay for more time over 390 Km/h. The only downside of Angelus compared to Crinale is that it is harder to turn the vehicle

I stopped accelerating and used the brake. That allows the car to reduce quite fast the speed so it can do the turn without crashing. It is also important to stay as much on the inside as possible

@@速瀬水月-x1f you can go for that but only if you want to play very safe. In 765 if you wanna go fast you either brake while holding the acceleration button or release the accelerator without breaking (I personally prefer the former). Although what matters most is how much you car is close to the inner wall and have the right timing (which is pretty narrow at times) as there's a high risk of crashing if one of the two needs aren't met while you try to take the turns at high speed

@@LeosKlein It's been a long time since I last played Ridge Racer 2. Recently, I felt like challenging the leaderboard. I tried 765 a few times yesterday, but the fastest I can do is 1.51 according to my driving style. The biggest difference between me and you is the handling of that corner. I'll try it again later as you said and see if I can break 1.49.

Yes, this is on PC by using Duckstation as emulator and using the "Cheats" present in it that allow the game to run at 50 FPS (using PAL Version) and have a draw rendering distance increased, but I too when I started using them I had FPS issues. The solution I found was to enable CPU Emulation Overclocking and then setting a high percentage of Overclock. After setting that I never had any FPS drop issue. Hope this helps!
