Call me crazy then. I liked Alien Force and Ultimate Alien. Maybe not for the art style or animation (as a kid, none of that mattered to me) but it was still a good romp of a show. I kind of disliked Omniverse because, as a guy growing out of my teens, it just looked and seemed like a downgrade. Looking back, I should've given Omniverse more of a chance than I did because it was a pretty good show.

3:56 Uhhhh? Huge selective bias. Go through the AF episode list and count the comedy centric episodes. Comes out as barely 6. Even season 3 mostly delved into action over humor after Singlehanded. Humor is subjective but the original series really wasn’t funny. It was very much slapstick and the writing for jokes was never a focus because it wasn’t comedy. Omniverse humor was abysmal. Shit just wasn’t funny. Same with UA. It’s so interesting to single out AF in this conversation when it was the least comedic series. As a cartoon review channel, I didn’t expect such a naive take as you showing the scene after Max Out as proof that the characters couldn’t emote. You’re a cartoon reviewer - you should know this is the fault of the storyboarder. AF character models were super expressive, especially in the first two seasons. The pilot, Alone Together and Pier Pressure are good demonstrations off the top of my head. UA, on the other hand, is a complete disgrace in that department. Again, AF was brought up not UA.

I do love how he says the live action Disney movies of their classic are bastardization of the original. when Disney’s take on these grim fairytales were already bastardize versions of the original fairytales that they come from. Or did he forget that in the original little mermaid fairytale, the mermaid dies, and turns into sea foam right after she kills the prince’s love interest.

disagree hazel needs to have her time in the sun before they get a new kid. a new kid a season would not work for me, hazel needs more time. this is like how they kept recasting saved by the bell the new class in the 90s cause the kids in season 1 reminded people too much of the OG cast. and the constant switching and meeting new characters constantly was annoying no thanks but they could definitely expand and get peri a separate kid and actually keep that kid.

I think this show will just follow hazel and the next show like the one after Hazel they'll get a new kid, since the opening for the new show is made for her and I want to see more of her like Hazel meeting Timmy for the first time

What makes her point about the show having “witch craft” so absurd is that, the fantasy genre, which this show is clearly inspired by, was pioneered by devout Catholics such as Tolkien. Out of all the horrible things happening in the world, war, genocide, and actual religious persecution happening in places like Israel where Christians are ACTUALLY being harassed and bullied and jailed, these people without question believe that God’s number one concern is a television show.

Good rant, man. This episodes can be fixed so easy. Like, Fionna, Cake, Simon and Scarab repair the universes they have visited. Or Fionna have dandelion and wishing to give for people a chance to being magical. And also wishing her universe being canon. This can resolve a problem with creatures from another universes and F&C have what they wanted. I guess...... Fionna in a Cake-Suit fighting Scarab? Interesting concept. My personal hateful part of this spin-off is how they wrote Simon and Betty's relationship. I'm agree with your point about Beth explaining about Casper and Nova to Simon. Because i'm grow tired with what modern Hollywood trying to feed us. It's a off-the-shelf trail "adults learn from children". It's could've been great if, as you said, Simon telling that for Beth and she was amazed by his intelligence and wise view on it. But.... I said it a lot, i'm not a fan of a concept "Simon didn't pay attention on Betty's dreams. And Betty always following him". For me, from my viewing on original series and some moments in "Jerry", it's Simon following Betty and she never allowing him do something his way. Or, like Paul A. Thomas (author of the "Exploring the Land of OOO") said, just following a concept "Simon and Betty make their own mistakes and sacrifices. And they love each other so much that they can hurt themselves". But they were separated and goes nuts because of the unpredictable circumstances, like Great Mushroom War and post apocalypce. It could've be easier if "Casper and Nova", instead of metaphor of Simon and Betty's relationship, showing their story from original series. Like, how Simon raising Marcy and/or what kind of stuff Betty made to get him back. That's can make sense and connects with Simon's arc in a multiverse. Even with the parts, what was add into their arc (what i don't like). And it's really sad that there's no Marcy and Finn in a finale. Simon needs to talk to them about his adventure. Not only that, but they don't even search for him, when he was gone in OOO. It's really weird and really sad.

After listening to the first minute of this, it’s obvious to me that you’re confused as to why people are complaining about wokeness. None of us care about race or a persons sexuality. This is about Disney and their agenda. How they must insert this crap into everything they touch. In the name of tolerance. Again, nobody cares about your damn sexuality or race. What we do care about, is manipulation of our beloved childhood, and mixing in this completely unnecessary junk. It’s pandering. Nobody likes being pandered to. You can’t just lump X-men into the lgbtq+ category, just because the show focused heavily on discrimination against mutants. Why not make new content for this stuff? There is no need to manipulate existing content to pander to modern day gender politics. Here’s my prediction based on what besen so far: Morph and Wolverine are gonna have a bizarre relationship where morph transforms into whatever gender Wolverine prefers. Cyclops is gonna get killed off as leader, and Storm(being the strong confident oppressed black woman that she is) is gonna take his place.
