Beware, the A14 does not work with some of the newer model I-Pads! I learned the hard way. "Due to the change in the magnetic position of the entire series of iPads in 2024, our A14 is temporarily not perfectly compatible with it, including magnetic charging!" Thats a statement from Metapen.

I bought two of the bands reviewed here and are underwhelmed by both, I guess the old adage of you get what you pay for applies. The first is the spiegen Spigen DuraPro Flex Ultra. My main complaints are that the buckle is HUGE (almost as big as the watch itself) and it sits on the side of my wrist making the whole thing rather goofy looking. I could have determined both of these things if I'd paid closer attention to those details in the video. The one thing that I think is misleading in the video is the statement that the band has "less give". It has NO stretch at all. This band won't be my go-to activewear band. I'll find something else, maybe even paying the price to get genuine Apple. The other band that I bought is the NewWays Metal Band. The video portrays it accurately. My only real complaint is that the design of the clasp makes for a very uncomfortable "bump" under the clasp on the bottom of my wrist. Since I'll probably only wear this one occasionally when I want to look a little dressier, for $27 on Amazon it'll do. Thanks for the review. Well done video.

I’m glad I found this video! I’ve been using an old reminder app called Alarmed for the past 9+ years and it’s so old it doesn’t support dark mode so when I use it at night it’s like getting flashbanged lol. It’s not even formatted correctly so it doesn’t use my full iPhone screen. That said, this video inspired me to start using Apple Reminders since I love widgets and the dark mode it offers. Looking forward to categorizing things too like Groceries, Finances, etc

It would be helpful if they gave me the ability to highlight sections of notes and alpha-sort. Any word that feature is coming?!

Thanks for this - but indeed I have a problem with calender app on MacOS I still wasn't able to solve: I have several icloud calenders shared with my girlfriend. I own the calendar and we both add tasks to this calendar. Whe she adds a new task, I get a notification - nice, that's the way it should work. But on my Mac (not on iphone) it appears as invitation in calendar app ... and it's quite annoying when you got 20+ of this invitations after a couple of days. There seems to be no chance to get rid of this invitations on Mac (showing up in calendar app on the left panel of the screen). Any ideas how to solve this? Thanks!

The "add notes" trick is bollocks. What people really want is a link to the note that contains everything you need, not to have to copy the contents of the note into the calendar. I have pictures, pdfs, todos and all kinds of tables in the Notes app. It can't move all that to the Calendar. Apple are way behind on this. Apps like Evernote, Bear and Obsidian let you copy the note link, and paste that, even into Apple Calendar. That is, 3rd party apps are more useful with Apple Calandar than Apple's own app. Apple's ecosystem integration is a soggy, unintuitive mess.

Hi, I am new to your channel. I used to exclusively use Apple's productivity tools (calendar, reminders, notes, etc). I switched to Google's tools a few years back when my Apple tools stopped communicating between collaborators (ie notes stopped updating on my husbands notes app). I'm considering a switch back to Reminders because of the "Template" and other features. Are there still issues with syncing between collaborators? Are there issues with lost data when phone updates occur? Thanks! Appreciate this video.

Nice video and thanks for the effort, this is good guide for the camera, it covers most of the basics but not all main. I was hoping you can show more about the clean up option which presented by apple was very interesting but I can’t find much about it nor use it. Also I think the lidar was quite improved compared to other models, which makes images at night and at the night sky astonishing and the AI how can it be used for images. I agree with you about the side button and its cool but using it with one hand for video makes it easy to slip from your hand, so maybe protecting case with ring on it can help.

I actually really enjoyed apple mail for the last couple of months using it, but it has an issue that finally drove me nuts. The fact that when you use a gmail address (like 95% of all mail users do) it does not support push and only fetching?? It get's so annoying that it takes so long for it to update and give you a Notification about a new mail. I've gone back to use spark, and it's so clear when you use both. Spark sends you a Notification and 10 minutes later or so apple mail finally does the same. That is kind of a deal breaker for me personally.
