Rare, original 1993 mix, complete with drum machine. Per Wikipedia: "In 2005, it was partially re-recorded, fully re-mixed, remastered and re-released along with the Staircase Infinities EP as a double album. The re-release contains a new mix by Steven Wilson, along with recorded drums by Gavin Harrison that replace the electronic drums of the original version."

An outtake, and later single, from Nazz' second album, Nazz Nazz (1969). Features a very young Todd Rundgren on organ.

This is the real deal.. I just can't stand the re-recorded Gavin drums.. They took away all the magic - not just from this track but from the whole album. I cannot phantom WHY did SW want real drums here when remastering - why can't the past stay in the past?? I'm bitter about it, since PT was my 'mentor/music education' band and I totally lost interest/moved on when Gavin came along and they switched their sound more towards 'prog metal' palette. Still I would have loved to have an option of listening to the original somewhere other than my old battered CD. So far RUclips is the only place where you can do it properly - thank you sir for uploading (even if it was 13 years ago already)..

Sort of different for Little Feat, but one of my favorites. When I go on long car trips, i throw a few CDs in the car that I haven't listened to in a long time. Took this on the last trip - I'd forgotten how good this album is. When I hit this song, I had to listen to it several times in a row.

As much as I love in abstentia and lightbulb sun etc I think this album, their first album, is the best by far. Each song is just beautiful and this as the last song on the album is like being whisked away on a soothing sonic cloud of psychedelia to a better place.

I have never ever listened to a song like this, the music, it's out of this world. It's like from another dimension. I don't know this song has an out of the world, one of a kind vibe. Can't imagine how someone can come up with this, this came from heaven i guess..

I sat in the room with a view The girl in the photograph knew Can't you see? Why is she laughing at me? I stumbled through the dark unaware The face in the hall isn't there Tomorrow has gone Where do the voices come from? Watching the leaves as they blew Lost in the room with a view Climb the walls You did not know me at all I fell through a hole in the floor The audience cried out for more Fade away It's just another day Hit heaven far too high.
