your videos look like a dream. I respect and support the excellence of your sensibility. Thank you for watching your video, which was created with passion and a lot of effort. Your video of going through a mysterious algorithm caught my eye, and thanks to it, my heart was filled with beautiful and good energy. Thank you again.

Ow man my friend's dad had a Nakamixhi tape player back in the 80s and we didn't have a clue how it worked. I'm not sure if I recall correctly but I don't even remember any classical knobs like I'm seeing here. Like the triangle is play, square is stop etc... I used to own lots of the TDK SA tapes. Memories :D I prefered the Sony tapes as I felt they had a brighter tone. Also I did not understand Dolby at all as a kid so I recorded all my tapes without any dolby. I had a huge tape collection but gave it all away in 2011 and also 3 of my casette decks all broke down in late 90s early 2000s but I was offered a free quality cassete deck around 2008 for free but I declined because I feared it would just be laying there and I would not be using. Great memories though.

I just saw this and you probably already sent your CR-7A there but I'll give you my two cents on them. Having been to ESL a few times I can say they're not cheap but they're good. Depending on what they need to do I would say you're in the ballpark assuming the deck works as designed then work would be limited to a "tune up" without the need to diagnose problems or replacing parts etc. If it has issues and you tell Jeff about them, he'll likely ask you what you're willing to spend on it and if he thinks it will exceed that amount he will call you and explain about what it will cost to bring it up to proper working specifications and you can take it from there. I brought my Nakamichi 680ZX that stopped working to ESL and made the mistake of telling Jeff over the phone "do what needs to be done." It ended up costing $2,600. I damm near fainted when I went to pick it up but in all honesty had no choice if I wanted it to work at all. Here it is over 10 years later and it still runs fine. Just as an FYI I bought my CR -7A from Jeff as he had some brand new Nakamichi factory rejects at the time. It works fine as well and I actually like it over the 680ZX. I rotate the two every few months. Bottom line, they're the only ones I trust for servicing Nakamichi tape decks. I'm fairly fortunate in that I can drive there in about two hours so I don't need to worry about shipping. I wish you the best of success on the CR-7A. It is a great cassette deck.

I had one of these some years ago. I couldn't hear the 15 KHZ tone. I thought the deck was broken, but then again I could see that the deck was responding and seemed to be working. I got my 45 years younger daughter (age 8) to listen and she could hear the tone.
