i need to tell you about something. I was in charlies house sometime last year and we were pretty deep into recording prime defenders. The guys were all doing something i couldnt be there for (i dont remember what) and I was just sitting in charlies office doing nothing. I looked over at his bookshelf and remembered being recommended renegades so i pulled it off. I started reading it and got increasingly freaked out the more i read because it is THE SAME SHIT!!!!!! time is a flat circle and nothing is real.
everything is full circle!! nothing is real except joy and (reconnection of) friendship because a moral dilemma-filled roleplaying story recommended an amazing book that I am delighted to have read and talk to my friends about. And while both feature a boy in isolation that gains the power to permanently alter the world, both are captivating, thought-provoking, and works of art that permanently and positively altered my world :)

BIG SPOILERS: Chip Jay and Gill are exploring a Navy base in the black sea. The whole place is very spooky with monstrous creatures stalking around. At one point, Gillion gets dragged away by one of the creatures, and chip and jay see gill's skin strewn on the ground. Eventually gillion finds his way back to the party, saying he healed back to nearly full with lay on hands (which is unlikely because lay on hands has a very small pool of healing). One of the rooms chip and jay were in had the bones of a leviathan, and gill wanted to go see it for himself, so he had chip bring him there. After trapping him in the room, gill revealed himself to be a clone of the real gill, made by the monster that dragged him away. I made this WAY wordier than it needed to be.
