Technically Sifu is a fighting game but not in the sense as to us in the FGC sees that as a fighting game as to others like UFC. But aside from that between the 5 nominees I would say either Tekken 8 or Dragon Ball Sparkling Zero would either take it honestly.

33:49 i think i disagree here. Tekken 8 is my first tekken game, and the Arcade Quest mode taught me way more about the game than World Tour taught me about SF6. Great video, though. I hope more people give these games a chance

Anyone who wants to play a fighter avoid Mortal Kombat. A lot of traditional tactics and strategies don’t work in those games.

Fighting games are ruined by business. It's asinine to have to purchase characters. This is what killed Fighting games and creativity. Can't even have proper joke characters anymore because who would buy one?

I usually play mainly kof and anime fighter like melty blood and blazblue but start with this year i have been trying to get into some of the big one like Tekken, MK and Street Fighter Out of the three Street Fighter might become one of my main fighting game especially 3rd Strike and 6 Tekken is fun but sadly 3d fighter just isn't my genre outside of Kamen Rider Climax Heroes while MK is just too different for me but still fun as a party game with friend

To be honest since Tekken 8 released many people have gotten into fighting games which is great and weird for me because Tekken is a hard game but it's their first fighting game

I'm hooked to Street Fighter 5 Champion Edition. I know the game came out barebones, but DAMN they more than made up for it in time. So much to see and do, and all so much fun! That one and Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 are EASILY the best fighting games for me, especially if you're looking to have fun at home, alone or with family or friends, and want to skip all the "online community" and predatory micro-transactions crap most fighting games are forcing you into now (here's looking at Tekken 8, Mortal Kombat 1, and Street Fighter 6... don't get me started with this last one's focus on its boring World Tour mode and avatar items instead of good stuff for the FIGHTING game).

I play both sf6 and tekken8. But I never could get into mk1 and any other, it's too realistic for me.

MK1 has some really fun characters especially after year 2…I’ll probably get hate for it but I find it more fun than Tekken 8

I still enjoy MK1 despite the many flaws it has but to say the least the game does feature a ton of skins for almost every character unlike with Street Fighter 6 and even more characters throughout each season (6 in total). And hey having to do fatalities,animalities and brutalities is still as enjoying to perform and watch.

Here's an unpopular opinion, but I think they should have sticked with only Street Fighter and Darkstalkers from Capcom side.

Fun thing is that there's two Proto Versus games via secret characters. Akuma was in X Men Children of the Atom, although with more Street Fighter II styled sprites. As was Anita from Darkstalkers in Marvel Super Heroes. And it's in the collection.
