I don't play road to CFP precisely because you are locked to that team's playbook. Custom playbooks are screwed up right now so I just use the generic air raid book in dynasty and play a friend.

There's a lot of similarities. The air raid is Lavell Edwards' offense which has a lot of overlap with the west coast stripped down to be ace of a few instead of jack of many while maximizing spreading the field and playing with a high tempo.

@@jmgonzales7701 It depends on the coach. They aren't necessarily trying to waste time but they typically aren't going up tempo. That changes with coaches and their particular brand of west coast.

I might get around to one eventually. NCAA 14 has a lot of good stuff that Madden doesn't have, but Madden managed to run some plays closer to how Leach did it than both what Kingsbury did in the NFL and what NCAA 14 had for Leach.

@@maddenairraid honestly it doesn’t have to be as in-depth. I’ll take whatever you can put together. I love the air raid. It’s my new favorite offense. I was a Run and Shoot guy. But if you can’t that’s cool.

I've got some stuff I'm planning for 24.

It's kind of a mix where I'll pull in things that I like from each coach. It's hard to do what Riley does because the run game isn't there in Madden. The passing game is pretty much in line with Leach for 80-90% of it then I do more with read options and gap scheme runs right now. There are a few tags and variations on concepts that I'll run from Kingsbury, both Rileys, Mumme, and Longo.

@@maddenairraid Sweet man, love to see other people trying to mirror real life concepts, I used to make videos on that stuff too. I was trying to work up some stuff recently that Holgerson does, but we don't do customs in the league that I'm in so couldn't replicate it with all the gap scheme runs + backs and TE's + air raid passing. By the way, just followed you on Twitch, y'all got a wild league going on it seems like, that Chiefs dude you played had an absurd offense I don't know what the heck that was, some type of Run and Shoot action on steroids haha.

@@HawkingRegime13 You and ny_kia31 were actually the first two people I started watching when I was beginning to play Madden and trying to use real world schemes in the game. The guy with the Chiefs is a really good Run and Shoot user and probably one of the most knowledgeable people out there on it who doesn't actively coach it. He has the channel "SchemeGuide" and also has done a bunch of google doc guides on different real world schemes that you can run in Madden.

Split your concepts over 3 days. Day 1 you have set a set of quick game concepts, drop back concepts, and screens/specials. Do that over the 3 days getting reps against different defensive coverages. Go into H2H after practice but only carry those concepts for that day.

You cant use custom playbooks in Franchise mode. Under team schemes they dont come up. It forces you to pick an existing coaches playbook. How is this hard to understand

No I understand what your saying. I dont play the games. I actually prefer to sim. Ive been doing this since the 90s. It works really well on NCAAA14. I Create a system make a playbook and build my team. Its fun to me to even just watch a game. You cant do it in Madden though. Its fucking frustrating

You can do it with any playbook that had these formations. I only included the ones in Arizona for this video but there are several others that you can do it from.

Yes, teams like Oklahoma use versatile personnel groupings to prevent defenses from being able to substitute while chaning formations. At Arizona State Gronk played a hybrid type of roll where he would line up at receiver and they would "audible down" to sets where he was a true tight end.

I stream some cfm games on my channel "buff_hamster7". It's mostly coach mode stuff but a few regular leagues.

It's a custom air raid book, but I started with Arizona before removing almost everything and rebuilding it.
