The dance starts in a slow key and the tempo gets faster and faster towards the end. It is based on the rhythm or beating of the hand drum, popularly known as Tappa, and hence the name of the dance Tappa.

We may have less money but we are rich in terms of culture.
Jyapu are kiratis.
some studies suggests that they are descendants of kiratis but it's not sure
@@mandeepmaharjan2866 yes Jyapus are Kiratis. Historians have already said this. Even the look and behavior of Jyapus are similar to the rais and the limbus.
