Lived in Tucson Arizona in 1975 stationed at Davis-Montham Air Force Base. Used to call The local radio station and request to play this on the radio all the time while we were working in our electronics repair shop.
the first super group
Where and when was this shot. What a great lineup.
Regarding the many comments about the constantly screaming audience, and whether that was added to the recording. The first 8 seconds or so, and the last few seconds, show the audience a bit. Look at the front rows. It appears that everyone is seated and not moving. There is no way this audience was actually screaming like that!
"Boys were natural twisters."
🎉no phones etc up in air recording..this ...
It's good seeing these people when they were so young.
Abe Union pride what a show 😊
The complete video please!.
I was there
Love this.. where was Jack Good?
Rod sent me here. Long John didn't show up on time and Phyllis "Rod" Stewart had to extend the few songs he knew until he finally showed.
the Animals on back up
This is absolutely remarkable!
Was at New Orleans Twickenham but too young to have gone, dammit
Five of the best singers ever, all on one stage at the same time. Unbelievable! ❤❤❤
... ¡¡¡ TLAZOKAMATI !!! ...
All I could say is thank God for recording studios because these guys are pretty bad….🤣
One of them is Joyce Baker, Kim Wilde's mum!
Well I didn’t know Beck used accoustic on this famous song
6:40 there's even some proto Punk? 7:36 the first guitar shredding in history? 😮
Little stevie !❤
Looked like Hilton Valentine on guitar.
Jeff. Wooooooo. Woo oo. So handsome
The Brits rocking it out........................................meanwhile, in America on Bandstand, Frankie Avalon and Annette............
Meanwhile, the Americans had already done this, but better late than never.
en France c'était l'horreur absolue ¡ des chanteurs nuls et insipides.... et c'est toujours le cas aujourd'hui ahahahaha
What the fuck is it with girls that just scream and scream and scream and scream and scream. They must be goddamn retarded or something.
Wow.... step into the time machine!!!
I bet Simon Cowell could completely ruin this with one of his "boy/girl bands"
I was fortunate to be a teenager in the '60's. Such great talent, especially in Blighty. But, while I admit these are great performers, this video is dreadful. I have to wonder if the audience cheering so loudly was amplified or was added after the event. Certainly, whatever Long John was doing didn't deserve much. Probably the show, up to that point, must've been deserving of the applause. This is a great Baldy video from his later years. ruclips.net/video/HB1PpX1VH_w/видео.htmlsi=04wxBlcCWA9ZLZLK And a great video of Julie and Brian. ruclips.net/video/m750pN5kc_c/видео.htmlsi=ZKnhKxP01sMCJGq8
Fore-runner to Dead Ringer For Love (Meatloaf and Cher)? Fantastic anyway.
I thought the same
SOLID GOLD!
Yep
Yeah-man!
AMAZING TO THINK THE KIDS IN THE AUDIENCE ARE PROBABLY IN THEIR EARLY 70s NOW
if these guys were to audition now, today's corrupt politically fuc**d record companies would never sign them on not even the beatles or any of the 60s, 70s or 80s bands. such shame but the truth.
The Vernons Girls. I love them
Wow what a jam session! Those were the days
Long John fabulous but so are the Venons
This would have been a magical jazz and blues festival to be at which not only featured this but also the who ,the yardbirds but also the best the Graham bond organisation
And a good time was had by all!
I dig it!
So boss. Christ. Give it to me.
GREAT! I was there! Remember some of very well, also saw Long John with Bluesology (Reg Dwight on organ) playing in a pub under Barnes Bridge back in the early/mid 60's. Those were the golden years and I got to see much of it, wish I were back there now!
I was a kid at the time of the British Invasion (the good one)...I thought I was paying attention back then, but I had NO idea just how serious the original Animals were...too bad they couldn't make any money
Wow
Yep
Sure glad bimbos quit screaming in the latter part of the '60's, sure ruins the music. I guess they either reached puberty, or the drugs kicked in.
The cream of British talent jammed together.
Pretty historic, Jeff has the Fender Esquire he bought from The Walker Brothers John Maus prior to him shaving the upper left corner to change it's shaper to a little rounder. Loved his little runs in Sloopy.
I was sitting in about the fourth row right in front of the stage
