Here’s the thing, they don’t need to promo it. They could leave us in the dark, give us a launch trailer a week before, and it would still be the largest sales in video game history. GTA is that big.

Take Two says the game is coming out in Fall 2025.

Hey I just watched the first 30 seconds and I can confidently tell you this game is not delayed. This is a different time, a different Rockstar. They may have already had an internal delay (they surely did). Yes every R* game gets delayed. Yes the gaps between trailers was smaller. But this is different. It should be delayed as long as possible. Gta online is a terrible unplayable mess. The story mode better be on a whole nother planet. The online needs to be balanced to the point it's not even fun. Actually normal price tags and both having better mission rewards and more realistic npcs. If they add a single vehicle that fires explosives other than a tank or jet? Games a total failure. I couldn't be less exited to see how big of a flop it will be. It can never live up to expectations cause that's just not how rockstar works. They get as much polish as money can buy. what youre missing is that rockstar is also releasing MAFIA the old country this year in june, just because gta 6 marketing isnt on full throttle doesnt mean the game is delayed, they might be trying not to overshadow the MAFIA game, plus the internet does the promotion of gta6 by itself, theyre more worried about mafia

There's an important thing to note about GTA V's release that needs to be highlighted. When they released the second trailer for GTA V, it was in November 2012 - at the time it had a slated release date of Spring 2013 - meaning they planned to release it give or take 6 months later after their second trailer - so a potential release in April or May. Those were their *original marketing plans* , until they then delayed the game on Jan 31st, 2013. again, they originally had a *6 month marketing cycle* planned after Trailer 2 was shown. based on that timeline, if they’re planning to release it Fall 2025, a second trailer would be coming sometime in the spring. A October 2025 release for example would mean that we could possibly not see Trailer 2 until April, or even May if it’s a November release. i think they've always wanted to pull of a *shorter marketing cycle* but they *always* end up announcing the date before they're truly confident they can deliver on time. they've likely learned their lesson via the internal delays and want to show the game off again with Trailer 2 ONLY when they can stamp an official release date at the end of it. people in the GTA community have been crying non stop about how little info we’ve been getting, but considering (what im assuming are) their plans for a shorter marketing cycle, once it DOES properly starts, it will feel like we’re getting absolutely bombarded with information. if we get a trailer every few months or so starting in April, ESPECIALLY with all of this skepticism about it coming out this year, from a marketing standpoint (aka the most important standpoint when releasing a trailer lmao) they will absolutely be dominating headlines for months prior to the release of the game in Fall with a new trailer drop confirming this years release date. ok i just took off my tinfoil hat but thats my analysis of the situation lmao

It's all marketing/advertising, right? The question is, does GTA 6 need it?... Maybe they are just saving the time/money and effort of bothering with most of it... Before GTA 5, they still needed to really push to sell... Even with Red Dead 2, everyone knew about it, but some needed to be sold on it.... Trailer 1 came out when it did because of leaks. The time difference would have been way shorter otherwise. I'm convinced at this point they have to release something pretty soon to confirm 2025, or a delay. That or they just say nothing cause every day of this year that passes in silence confirms a delay a little more. Honestly, we get through March with nothing? Delay guaranteed.

Trailer 1 got us excited about the game, Trailer 2 needs to get us interested and hyped about Lucia & Jason. They need to show us them in the same light they did Trevor, Micheal, Franklin, Arthur, & all that came before them. more of the Bonnie & Clyde vibe there going for because right now I don’t feel a connection or hype for these characters yet. At least not in the same way I did for the characters of the past at this point in time of the games promotion. These characters have my curiosity, trailer 2 needs to get my attention.
