I love the finale and it's the best but the adagio is SOOO GOOOD. Only elipsed by finale but if you are in that mood it just hits different

This, like most, if not all organ pieces, cannot be appreciated anywhere but live. I’ve heard this lovely piece several times. My mother was a violinist in symphonies around the world. Though she’s gone my love of classical music persists. This amazing, complex, piece is even better in a hall with a pipe organ. The last time I heard It they had several people, including the conductor up in the organ pipes for days. Dusting and tuning. It was worth it. This piece never fails to impress me sitting in the balcony. I’ve also been lucky enough to hear Bach’s Toccata and Fugue at none other than Notre Dame in Paris. That’s an experience that you never ever forget. When all the stops are pulled it shakes the stone floor under your feet

I sat through the whole concerto. Thanks for posting. Nothing but a genius garbage this is. This composer is a master of eighth notes. It seems he is stuck with them due to his laziness and comfort of life. What a failure composition. But, I think, number 4 beats This by a long shot.

I have the LP of this. The second side is Symphonic Metamorphoses, if I remember correctly, with Bernstein conducting both. I've never heard the Eb Symphony anywhere else.

And congratulations to TubeYou for pacing the ads _between_ the movements, instead of interrupting the music. They don't do that often.

I shouldn't ever read the comments. Music, on this scale, is painstakingly shared, by a cohort of 65+ musicians. Working together. Tuning a double reed is complex, strings break, ever tuned an organ? I've performed this as organist several times. Music critics are ever present. And ignored simply because you suck the joy out of everything.

The theme at 10:32 is so pretty, it’s such a shame the B section at 12:30 isn’t as good/catchy (to me). I wish we could hear a version where Rachmaninoff (maybe late Rachmaninoff) did the B section to this - could be interesting
