Personally, I think that his best move would be to join Porsche, if he leaves RBR. Porsche's success in motorsport is proof of their abilities to produce a winning car, and besides, they have been in Formula One before, so they have quite a good idea of exactly what they are up against in modern F1 racing.

Max definitely would've won with the McLaren; proof of that is that he literally won with the third-fastest car.

Max and Lando are both half Belgian through their Flemish mothers so I am a supporter of both. Both are excellent drivers. They won everything before entering F1. Lando entered 2 yrs later than Max and Max has a killer instinct, is trained for all weather conditions and can switch on/off like nobody. It is just not easy to compete with this giant. Lando just entered F1 in the wrong era. It is like cycling against Eddy Merckx. As good as you are, you are just second. His time will come, for sure, when older and wiser…or maybe next yr already because the RB is not that good anymore.

Martin wasn't wrong though, If you put Lewis, max, alonso in that car they would have breezed a championship long long before the season finished.

Lando Norris is a true loser. Max would have won the championship earlier in a Ferrari, as well as in a McLaren. Even when McLaren had a better car (and they still do), Max managed to score more points. "No one ever has come back from as great a deficit" ... big lies of omission there. Norris hasn't come back, Max extended the lead with the worse car. Second, nowadays you can get 25 points for victory. Back in the early days it was 8 points. Now there are 20 races, back then 8 or so including Indianapolis. Where Max says you cannot compare the greatness of drivers on stats because times change, Lando uses the changing times to excuse himself. Let's be honest, Max would even be champion in a Mercedes.

I think they’ve used him to develop their 2026 car and, at times, deliberately disadvantaged him (Singapore was nonsensical), but they’ve not altered the car to cause him physical harm.

Ferrari thought they would win the race, Merc, somehow had the fastest car. That hurt. Charles, overcooked his tyres in trying to overtake Russell. That lost him time and track position. For me Senna is the best of all time. But so much depends on who is the best in the team, when that team has the best car. Hamilton would not have won 6 of his 7 world championships, if he was driving for any other team. If Alonso was at Merc instead he would be on 8 world championships. That said Max is right up there against as one of the best of this generation.

Aston will never win anything with Lance as a driver and yet again he’s blaming everyone else when will he realize he’s got no talent as a F1 driver,if it was any other team he would have been sacked seasons ago but all the time daddy owns the team unfortunately we are stuck watching him every race yet it does add to the entertainment as we can guess just how he’s going to mess up more and more with each race weekend.

The ability to bring in sponsors seems to be as important or perhaps more important than talent. Imagine all of the greats from the past who would not get a drive because they wouldn't attract sponsors. Bruce mclaren had to drive in USA to get funding for his business. Maybe some UK or American company should adopt Liam Lawson and throw some sponsorship his way. Colopinto has talent and sponsorship potential, lucky for him. So did Perez - his driving has suffered but he still brings in dollars. Then there is Lance Stroll - enough said!! I hope LL does get a perm drive. I hope Colopinto gets a drive as well, but not at the expense of LL

Yes I’ve been watching real F1 since Dijon 1979 yes real F1 cars and real F1 drivers. Todays cars are Formula E plus at best the greatest drivers will be Gilles Villenueve, Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost, Nicki Lauda, Ayrton Senna, Nelson Piquet, Jos Verstappen, Berger, Brundle and so on remember this was real F1 not these robot controlled cars that drove themselves and powered by electricity? Maybe Schumacher was real F1 not Hamilton fake Formula E plus at best. These guys can’t race and if they get within a foot of each other they whine and cry like girls like I said fake wrestling Formula E plus can’t compare at all.

From Fangio, Moss, Ascari.. To Lewis, Seb, and Alonso. We've had so many brilliant drivers. A lot of whom are the greatest of their eras. We can't really compare different eras after all.. for all we know Lewis and Max would have struggled in an F1 setting of the past with manual gear shift cars or Senna, Prost or Lauda wouldn't have been able to make as much of a driver difference in modern F1 cars.

If you like Max, that's perfect, but there are lots of debatable assumptions at the end. Senna had to race a perfect computer-car, and sometimes he won, not Max's situation.
