My biggest problem in gaming..Be super excited for a game...Install the game, watch some videos to get the best gun,armor,loot etc....Forget eating,sleeping and grind them....And bingo! Suddenly it feels like I don't want to play it anymore...

I just build my first base on a tiny pirate moon. And I absolutely love it, I love to explore and name every plant and creature that I find.

But is there a game like AdVenture capitalist + no man's sky? A game to make money that is similar to no man's sky

This is why I 'play' video games. Even the witcher 3, for me its a place I go, to chill, to explore, its why I love open world games. I wana 'be there', not just rush through missions.

only thing I hate is that servant takes too long to complete hunts and to heal.

i HATE doing farms and glitches in the games i play. it makes the game very boring

(Let me preface this by saying I do switch settings around occasionally to alleviate the following points.) Personally I set everything to creative mode. Invincibility. Free purchases. Free crafting etc. I don't like the idea of having to go to entire other solar systems for very specifc resources. The loading times between jumps are annoying. So I just skip the grind honestly. But it is a double edged sword. On one hand I get to just explore. But as someone else said. Seen one part of a planet pretty much seen the whole planet other than some interesting terrain height and depths. Plus I got like the best system for the start. A beautiful world with calm waters no storms. Beautiful skybox in space, blue sun. It's not classified as a paradise planet but it feels like one. And while I am invincible. And don't have to spend money or craft. It does remove a lot of the engagement. There's no point to combat, or digging up ruins, or exploring abandoned frigates. Cause they're just going to give me rewards for stuff that because of my settings. I literally don't need. When I learned how you're SUPPOSED to go about getting sentinal ships. I just felt such a wave of tedium. That's one case where I will happily keep it on creative. Yes I'm aware this is my own fault. Yes I know I can change the settings. But. Every time I do try to enjoy the intended experience. I'm quickly reminded how much I don't want to deal with all the resources and stuff. And sentinals?! ... Don't even get me started. Yeah I know the game is about slowing down and really enjoying it. And I can appreciate that in a game. I really can. But it feels like a chore to deal with all the resources and crafting and repairing ships. Maybe at some point I'll just tough it out and try to enjoy as intended. But ... I don't know. It's a weirdly unique situation of my own making. As someone said years ago on an unrelated comment section. "It's not the game's fault if YOU can't stop cheating." ... And that's true. But I'm having fun. Yet also I'm not. ... There's no have your cake and eat it to scenario here.

I was disappointed with the base building, not because I couldn't build a big factory, but because I couldn't build my cozy space beach cabana. Sure I can build a cabin on the beach, but there's nothing to really put there. Once I had a storage space, lights, and solar power, I'd built everything I was interested in building.

I had this idea recently that I really wanted to make my own starship and the way I went about it was to scrap ships from my "home" system, one piece of salvage per planet. Took a few hours and would have been a lot less trouble to simply purchase a ship but It's easily one of my favourites now, because wherever I go I'm reminded of my humble beginnings.

My biggest problem with the game was the whole "present what happens with text" approach... You do something and the game basicaly says this and that happens, while really you can see your character and it's surroundings clearly being static. Same goes for conversations, I NEED to hear actual speech that makes sense, even if it's in alien language. Otherwise, the game feels very lonely and soulless.

I'm 35 hours into the game and I haven't even finished the tutorial questline yet. I do have a tendency to min-max in games and it's kinda happening on a smaller scale. Right now my goal is to max my Batpod's tech slots with S engine upgrades to see how fast it goes, next might be learning every Korvax word because I love them as a race. I hope I don't fall into the trap of rushing the content and feeling empty though.

I love and hate this game at the same time, the number of times i uninstalled it out of rage it's too damn high. THe game needs to be less punishing while dying. At least make repair trivial, and i would like to keep my loot too. Implement some other currency for killing players, not inventory drop. I tell you: this keeps me from wanting to play this game, even tho i want. My time needs to be respected.

As someone who focuses primarily on immersion in gameplay, this hits hard. I still have to remind myself that some people don't play games to be immersed.

I truly love this game. It is what I wanted from ZX 81 days. The only fault I can find is warping to your settlement. Let us enter a portal and exit a portal. Either move the portal out of your office to the middle of the settlement or allow us to exit in the office BY the portal!. It is like coming through the Stargate to SG1 base and appearing outside on the road..

New to the game. A few months. Got really lucky. Once I got access to the main hub I got lost taking some random portals to other peoples worlds. Found some guys gold farm…. Must have been glitched. I have more money than god now lol and have the freedoms to do whatever 😂 I’ve got a fleet with a star destroyer

Been logging in for years now, i just like to explore and find new things. Then I'll take a break. Then i log back in and blown away by the updates. One of the only games that calls me back.

My first Playthrough is permadeath mode lol, the toughest first 2 hours in the game. Inventory management is total chore and annoyances. Now doing another playthrough on survival its a pleasant journey so far

They should create a server with "less" npcs and encourage players to trade and roleplay a little, maybe become workers with classes and skills. Create your own trading post and send signals to next systems as sponsor or your goods, a ship workshop, a race track manager with bets and tournaments etc. The game has amazing graphics, planets, creatures etc, but too few interaction encouragement between players.

How to have fun: “Have fun, slow down, build a base, look around, explore, build a base, buy a ship, buy another ship, build a base, have fun, build a base”

Something I do to enjoy a game like this is to play on a day where you have nothing to do and you can play as long as you want. Not having to worry about real life time constraints, or tasks that you have to do on that day, can really put your mind at ease and make the gaming experience better.

I’ve been occupying with myself trying to establish farms for all the raw resources required for Fusion Ignitors. It’s a long list and it’s fun to take my time, explore planets and build detailed bases around my harvesters. I get distracted frequently.

i think i got sucked into quests and when i run out of resources to jump systems i get stuck deciding whether i should take the time to get resources or close the game. i want to do a ton of things in this game and im doing 1 thing instead of the rest

Unfortunately for me, my current PC set up is below the minimal requirement and oddly enough the place I notice it is on bosses. I feel like I'm not able to dodge/block/avoid attacks that I see others in video doing due to low FPS or something. Well, either that, or I really suck at combat. lol. Could be a combination too. So sadly I'll either have to up the armour and weapon stats to get past Frostmaw or take the time to build a castle with servants and lead him into it.

My way to Dracula.1. I pick all the buffs witch potion,rage potion,vampiric potion,protection from fire. 2. I kill the dragon take the amulet replace the ulty. 3. I pick stormshield and a spell to nuke. 4. I go to Dracula 5. First phase is easy .. if I lose health or do any mistake I flee. 6. He becomes pissed off.. second phase.. he summons a crystal I use Ult on the crystal . Give a hit with the weapon bye bye crystal .. He starts the bulletstorm ,he throws crap? What a blessing . I move like you did at the edge and grab as many of these bullets as possible with the shield .He summons a crystal I nuke with the spell,dash use weapon ability kill crystal. We have space again and finally kill Dracula. :) My only tip.. do not lose of your sight Dracula.. where he is is crucial. Dracula shows his intentions always . It took months for me to understand how to kill him without using heals at all. After getting used to him the best way to teleport with your loot at your base after a rift run ,yes ... Kill Dracula and teleport with your loot at your castle instead of flying or using a horse. For me Talzur shard (purple shard) is the best because you start the second phase relaxed knocking his first crystal fast and you do not have to deal with a bulletstorm plus the crystal plus ...you save one dash. :). I have suffered a lot . Now I kill him every time I do a type 2 rift. Draculin blood type is also good at night.. as he cannot reach you and you already know all his patterns well. When he is doing his sword rain he cannot reach you plus half of his attacks can be dodged without dash.

Put playback speed on 0.75 % and imagine Elliot Alderson aka Hackerman is narrating. XD

Do you know what I like about this game? I am a new player during October. And what I like is the cosmic horror element. And It's not only halloween cosmic horror element. It's just a base game cosmic horror. Like, when I visit Atlas, I always get a chill that goes down on the spine. I didn't understand it language, and I was talking to myself, "What did it want from me?" "Will it kill me soon?" And then there's glitched world that always broke my perception of reality in this game. Wonder if gensokyo exist in this universe. Then there's cyrstaline werid sentinel, which make me wonder what happened to them and what the hell they are. And spooktober event added dilicious spice on top of it.

Im having fun upgrading my exocraft modules. The minotaur is so op it makes the planet sentinel battles much less stressful lol
