I think I’m giving Goodwill a break. I went yesterday because it was my birthday and they only gave me 15% off? A far cry from the $5 birthday discount last year. Plus the other promotion was 15% off if you spend $25. That’s not real thrifting prices for me. The thrill of the find is gone. 😔

Another Great video! The blue Santa is Father Frost, also known as Ded Moroz from Russia. We have a few from our travels there. The Nike shoes have a manufacturing date on the tongue . So you can tell the year they were made. Nike has a 2 year “warranty” on items, as long as it’s a manufacturer defect and not do to over use. I work Nike customer service 😉

i bought a whole big bed like this at costco back then for my twins it was 2000$ ... it didnt last long... but at 325 is nice even if u change in 2...3yrs.. and make sure u have the ceiling level... the top one she could sit.. but not 2yrs later...

Another store you should try is The Greener Good. 843 N Wilke in Arlington Heights. All donated items but Mainly geared toward teachers. Craft supplies, school supplies, kids toys. Amazing prices.

You are very brave to take all 3 kids to thrift. Restores are so different depending on where you live. In PA the one near me is like a junky GW. I have found some great finds there. In FL they look like beautiful furniture show rooms. Not too much to find there.

Gosh, if I had a nickel for every time I brought something home only to find damage I hadn't noticed before purchasing, I'd be rich! It's a good reminder for all of us resellers to triple check everything. Nice haul nonetheless!

I was an antique and collectible dealer for over 40 years. My advice is to learn more and spend less! Plus price by sale price (comps), not list prices. I adore your channel, and love your spontaneous reactions, but please check comps more until you have more experience under your belt. Happy shopping.

That paisley robe is really cool. I actually wore my mother's (your grandmothers) paisley PJs last night. Perfect for FL nights. Gotta hand it to, ya found some cool stuff. The little blue polyester, pink flowers not so much. Only your mother can tell you a true honest opinion. Pearl Snaps, now that's a great find and the flannel. Looks like a really fun store. My Goodwill always looks like that! I am always envious watching resellers that have beautiful aisles. We have four rows but it is just thrown on.

All my packaging materials are in large clear totes separated into type of materials (stacked in garage) ~ with the boxes 📦, I eventually had to break them down to stack them up “on their side” stored in the spare closet and this closet also holds my props for the photos in clear containers on the built in shelves ~ for inventory I ordered a very large bookcase that has height adjusted shelves so I am not worried about the size of the piece and I have another taller bookcase (constrained on size by area putting it)~ one holds not listed and waiting to clean ~ the second one holds the listed products ~ my packing area (back was starting to hurt bending over) is an electric desk (you can adjust by the up and down buttons or set preset heights) ~ it has a range of 24” to 48” height. So it is my regular desk, then adjust the height and move my laptop off when packing for shipping, once done put it back down to process mailing labels. It has taken a few times of organizing to reorganize for efficiency. My cleaning products again are stored in a closet (I know this will come as a shock 😳) in clear labeled containers and separated into soft rags for polishing, cleaning rags, gloves, etc. I use the clear totes and containers so it lessens it from taking over the room while also to quickly pull what I need without digging through to see what I have. Also, if I have a larger piece that needs a larger and not typical size box, when I find the right size one, I will staple a sticky on it saying it is for said product.

In Oregon the Goodwill stores are becoming so expensive that I very seldom shop at them. I'm retired and used to go to Goodwill to buy clothing, books and household goods. So far Goodwill has kept 50% off, but not for much longer. One manager told me that changes are in the works. Goodwill feels it's bottom line isn't big enough. Some customers blame resellers for the higher prices, but it is really greed on Goodwill's part. They want to have a bigger profit margin. Luckily, St. Vincent's is still keeping their prices down. Really enjoy your channel. 😊

I’m new to your channel and am enjoying your videos! I was so disappointed with Goodwill taking away the color tagged sale. They also stopped the senior discount on Wednesdays and the discount for veterans and military. I think they will loose a lot of business to other thrift stores.

Oh my I think you should have gotten the artwork. For $5 in change you could have repaired the frame. It was so unique

Whatever works for you. My husband goes faster than I finds more interesting things. I believe he takes a fast look about 6ft back and then goes through slower.

I am in the Midwest....Chicago & will travel to the Wings Resale store soon. Given all the changes at Goodwill, I probably won't shop there anymore. Loved the video!💕
