@stefanmindrila9351 Gaijin killed the A-5's. Turn-rate and overheating is too ruined. A-4 sort of still limps on but overheating is still super annoying and keeps it from being able to WEP for long so it also cannot keep it's top speed for long. A-1 is OP at 3.0 A-8 and F-8 are still great due to airspawn and they have excellent cooling. Doras are hard to fly against allied superprops but they at least are very fast and actually have climb rate so it works out. Ta 152 H-1 is at 6.0 so it will be annoying to face jets in uptiers. Imo A-8 and F-8 and Doras are the only ones worth flying atm. A-1 is OP but low tier is boring. But yeah check for CERES, but also o7 as we appreciate it! Your name sounds Romanian, am I right?

@vinnygee173 Video is over 3 years old. They did compress and rudder was just as bad. If a 51 comes with speed, your best bet is to do lateral movements to use their rudder against them, then roll to use their inferior roll against them. P-51 H is extremely fast and if he does not cut throttle in time, he will overshoot just as shown in the video. 2021 Antons where still outturning P-51's at any speed. Now it is a different story, agreed. 190 keep getting nerfed and P-51 now only loses to A-4 and A-8, F-8 and Doras at below 400 km/h speed where these 190's have better turn and flaps. A-5's got killed, they got nerfed so badly, you can just skip them now to save yourself the suffering.

@@the6tharmy i mean if i were that p51h, i would have perhaps climbed aggressively because the fw would have burned alot of energy during that menuvre, and if the fw tries to follow me into that climb id loop over its nose to stall it out

@vinnygee173 you may be faster when you go vertical, but I just need to aim at you and you'll not outclimb the MG151's 20mm Minengeschoß. If you would be that P-51 H and you are in a safe 1v1 coming from a perfect six position, you can simply cut throttle and shoot the 190. Alternatively you can just climb and BnZ it to death. Coming in blazing with speed, gets you reversed. Especially when the only logical reset maneuver is vertical, where else to point at when you see enemy resetting? You'd still be dead. A Fw190 flown like mine, you should simply avoid getting close to, unless you have the same speed and can tail sit. The initial turn of 190 is better and can still get you. Better to be safe and do it by the book. The heroes die first.

@@the6tharmy i could wiggle around to avoid the shots lol. if i do go into an extremely steep climb then id imagine if you try to get guns on me youd stall out

@vinnygee173 wiggle :))))) You'd be dead and like I said if you go straight up, it makes it easy to just shoot you, even if I have less speed. Why not just slow down or just climb before you even ever get into the situation of putting yourself at risk.

@pandablackster 190 addict here, guilty as charged. I'd say Fw190 A-1 and A-4 are decent to start with. Skip A-5's all of them, they suck and got too nerfed to be worth flying. A-8 and F-8 is when you get the hang of it. Doras trade even more elevator for way better speed and climb which is worth it imo.

@Just_A_French_Gamer No problem, they are basically the same plane but, Hitler wanted all new fighters to also be easily used for bombing missions. So the A-4 was modified to put the engine 30cm forward in order to shift the center of gravity so that bombs can be more easily carried. It also features an upgraded cooling system with better cooling flaps inside and gives the A-5 a better top speed. Other than that, the engine and everything else is identical.

Gaijin nerfed the flight model and overheating of the engine. It is pain to fly A-5's right now.

I trained my aim simply by using the same cannon for a long while. If you switch constantly it can be quite hard to adjust.

@@the6tharmy the changes to cannon shell drag a year ago really messed with my aim, I can barely hit MG151 shots beyond 500m anymore

@@HUEEY My condolences. But the 5.7 uptier was pretty brutal for G-10. But a respectable plane that has a fair bit of challenge to face.

@@the6tharmy uptiers are fine, just kill the super props. they find a way to throw.

@@HUEEY Well I already do the same with 190. I like being able to go past 700 km/h without worrying about compression or wing-ripping and using all that energy to go back up if needed. As 109 you need to slow down and you lose that precious speed to disengage if attack failed. I'm just addicted to the advantages of the 190. Climb-rate is overrated imo.

All A-5's got a flight model nerf. They turn worse, flat spin essier, and lose elevator authority completely under 300km/h. They used to be able to turn with P-51's and roll or snap-roll at any speeds but now they just fall outof the sky doing that. They also overheat like crazy. It was said the overheating will be fixed in next major update. Fingers crossed.

@@the6tharmy I don't really let the overheating issue affect my focus on the battle, I don't use manuel controls either i don't really see it as a problem until the Temp starts flashing red by then i just throttle down to 90%-95% to compensate, other then that idc about the 'overheating' nerf.

@@Redbaron1006-warthunder well you either didn't fly much A-5's or you are pretty useless in it running it at 90%, that is over 200HP loss. You are not climbing or catching or outrunning anything.

@@the6tharmy I keep my engine at 100% consistency, and I side-climb because of the average climbrate, also its a pretty good headon machine, but the main strength of it is in the reversals, also i try to gain and balance my energy states between altitude and airspeed, i try to get to 5000m and at about 400km/h of airspeed.

@@the6tharmy You can definitely outrun planes i do that by conserving my speed and energy, plus its hard to rip the 190 especially in a dive.

Started flying it briefly for a min. Still basically stock. I used to fly the c202 with the mg151s a lot a long time ago.

@@HUEEY I liked the C.202 in German Tech tree back in the day. So I was happy to see the more advanced models get into the game. They look really nice and rock some satisfying firepower.

It started to self-explode recently, thx to Gaijin's ridiculous decision to equip almost all German HE shells with self-destruct fuze, while there were also non-self-destruct fuses available. Self destruct made sens when defending against allies, it makes 0 sense in WT setting, it's only role is to further nerf MG151/20 (why is Shvak so damn superior in ballistics and so damn effective damage-wise?).

@@the6tharmy As mainly a German tech tree player, I have several German air squad presets with one of them consisting of non-premium Rank 3 and Rank 4 BF109's and Fw190's. I intentionally stopped researching the BF109's after getting the G14 version and have yet to obtain the Fw190-D12 (which is fully researched) simply due to its seemingly similar performance metrics compared to the other Fw190's. How would you rate the Fw190-D12 compared to the other Fw190's with my current favorite to fly being the Fw190-F8? 🤔
