I really loved the playthrough with all of its twists and turns, it's great to see Max again. All the cliffhanger chapter endings made it really hard to wait for the next stream. Speaking of endings, the ending of the game made me really excited to see what's next!

Please try Chants of Sennaar. Like Outer Wilds... you can only play once. It's a mystery. There is no second play. You particularly might have a special angle... being multilingual. Without much spoiling... it's a game about translation. It is so entertaining watching people play... because you get so lost, you have to create elaborate theories to proceed. But you end up buried in all your crazy assumptions. I've watched a few people stream it and they end up in wildly different situations. Your stream is great on this Outer Wilds... I'm hooked. I hope you take requests :).

imagine 3 years of verbal abuse from the woman you love. the thought would come across your mind for sure. but the act is something most wouldn't dare to commit. james is a normal person put into a shitty situation just as mary was.. hes not meant to be the good guy. its just that he made a mistake. a thought i like to take is can we empathize with him or are we gonna keep judging the same way he judges himself.

So in addition to being amazing artist IRL she now officially also becomes a fictional character and part of RCU canon. If you head up to POEs social media, you'll find a post uploaded 3 weeks and some morse code to crack. POE is considered as a Grammy 2025 nominee, fingers crossed 🤞 (nominees announced Nov 8). I like the way that we accompany and get to know a different character each new game or DLC. Wondering if we'll eventually get to play as Ahti in any future follow-up...or maybe that would be asking too much and give away some of the mystery surrounding his story.

(After looking into it further, I have decided that I am going to edit my old videos from my very first playthrough of Control from 2019 and upload them here after all! it was such a good experience and i'd love to have it saved and archived on this channel. Honestly, I'm not a subscriber, I just go over to see what ending people got first time playing, and you're the only one out of like 50 to get this ending! Including the original game videos I've watched. I've never witnessed this before!

She's saying sorry partly because she got sick and couldn't give James the life he wanted with her, and partly because it's heavily implied over the 3 years she was sick she would repeatedly verbally abuse James. James did love Mary, it's why he almost immediately broke down mentally after killing her. He had grown resentful over the 3 years she was sick because she had become a burden that would constantly snap between verbally abusing him or loving him. Mary never meant any of the awful things she said to James, and outside of Maria ending James never truly hated Mary, he was just tired and wanted their old life back. Also Maria IS a real person. She was birthed into existence by Silent Hill because of James but she actually does have her own thoughts and feelings, she does truly leave the town with James in the "Maria" ending but she's cursed to develop the same disease Mary had because James took the wrong lesson from the town, just like Eddie. Maria is actually a pretty tragic character, just like everybody else in this game.

Wow, I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone get the Maria ending without actively trying to get it 😂

When James arrives in Silent Hill, he has Mary's body on his backseat. And he thinks she died three years ago, because just after he killed her and came to Silent Hill, he rewrote the story in his head and erased the last three years, where the situation was so bad for both of them. So Mary and his happiness died three years ago.

Really like the way that this turned out to be such a deeply moving story, yet combined with the fun of the puzzles and action of fending off the scaries, which themselves I feel probably have more meaning than may be initially evident. Such a well rounded game and overall experience. Certainly top tier for me.
