As someone who watched neither the English nor Japanese dub Hearing some of the names the other dubs have creates this weird mix of "oh that's so cool" and "wtf that's not even close" Like most of the names I know are either boring or screwed by translation, but some of them are so much better.

I’ve been rewatching this show a couple of times, and it’s so interesting how I keep learning new things from it. One quote that really strikes me is when Mark told Jack who was scared of practice “if you love soccer, you can’t give up, because even when it gets difficult, you will always love it, and always find a way to get better, so you cannot give up as long as you love it”, it went something like that. I think this anime’s spirit is so uplifting and wise, it keeps me moving forward on so many aspects of my life. Thank you inazuma eleven, truly.

i grew up watching inazuma eleven, i'm 22 now and i modded my 3ds just to play unlocalized version of inazuma eleven go game we never had, what a childhood dream

Nice video! I love Inazuma Eleven, it was my favorite anime/cartoon when I was a kid. It made me get into football and japanese culture as well. The only thing that I see as a bad thing now as an adult is that they (almost) always won by comebacks, and that made the anime kinda predictable, but even with that, it stills good and entertaining to watch and it brings me a lot of good memories.

Fantastic video ! I'm really glad it exists, and I love how your love for the franchise shows ! As a French, one thing you mentioned that I find funny is about the dub, because from what I understand here it's memorable due to the accent, while here it is basically iconic due to it's sheer quality (also the first opening is so good I'm enclined to say that it's better than the original version, but it's probably nostalgia 😅). So yeah I find it interesting to see how different localisations manage the same effect but kinda differently. Also while we're here rambling about IE, I'll talk about one of my best memory with it. Like a lot of kids, I obviously tried to mimic some technics back then with some friends. And one time, I just randomly reproduced God Hand in a real time situation, which made me and another friend that was here particularly hype, because my name is Marc (yeah, not Mark, but still). So yeah, it's something I'm a bit proud about 😆 In any case, congratulations on this really great video (in a lot of ways), and I wish you the best !

tbf the plot has way more serious subtext and plain text than u let on, it's very heavily focused on how entetainment and sports entertainment gets usef by political forces that expoit the players and fans to gain financial power over certain ereas in the country season 1,2, 4 and 6 all follow that line of plot, heck the main go team in their first season (season4) is literally called the revolutionary generation because they spread the rebellious idea of standing against the goverment who uses sports to validate economically and sociologically crushing capitalistic decision making of wealth distribution throught areas and city parts (just to give a hint of the plot) And thats not even tackling how mental heatlh is tackled in this show aimed at younger teens, when one of the protagonists had (fictionalised) form of an identity disorder after he was the sole surviver of his family dying in a card drive because of an avalanche, or another guy has conflicting feelings cause his lil sister is in a coma because of something he loves, or when in the first season the main team almost got killed by an "accident" in a televised game if one of their opponents didnt decide to give their captain a hint of trust
