With my voxel experience not going any farther then playing around in voxelmagica I guess using pixels seems a little easier from a 2d artists perspective. being able to quickly edit a textures tones and designs in photoshop before replacing the texture in blender for on the fly alterations seems easy to me compared to having to recolor voxels? There may well be a better workflow with voxels that I’m not aware of mind you (and if there is I’d love to know!) also afaik using voxels means you always end up with an outline where 2 faces meet on the corner as both sides of the voxel have the same color where as with 2d pixelart you get a little more creative liberty? (Again I’m not a voxel artist so there are likley ways around this that I’m not aware of)

@@Nebulous6 I think You have to import the object the project you are working on.. first You can go to other project and export the object and then import it back to the project you want to do the object replacing.

You can also save it as a blender asset and drag and drop into any project, It's much easier..

@@PolygonSquad I know how to bring an object into a new project, complete with its children. But is there a way to REPLACE an object and its children in one go with a rig from a different project? If not that's okay as I can just append a collection and then apply the motion from the old one to the new one and then delete the old one.

Which addon is it the landscape one... in new blender version i think you have to download it separately( you can download it as a zip file and, then in addon tab you can browse the addon and install it, but in older blender versions you can download it by going to edit - preferences- addon and searching..

@@tekoahperryman8918 first change snap to vertex. Then turn off the snap( click on 🧲 icon to turn off) Then press G to grab any object, while grabbing hold the Ctrl button. They will snap to the closest vertex..

@@John-wy2pf actually i undo the knife cut.. and did bevel the edge. Cuz it was easy..

@@BawonoSA173 @BawonoSA173 actually I haven't created a blender video for that. But the first two videos of the channel are about creating a full character ( but in 3ds max not Blender).

@@pioneerg4947 As someone who's decent at blender but trash at pixel art: trust me, you're 95% of the way there. Blender is the easy part.

may be you can select the model and press Ctrl +A and then select - All Transforms, also when you apply textures you probably need to change the texture coordinates to "object" or "generated" if you haven't done the UV unwrap.

It was created with Grease pencil stroke.. I did a RUclips Short video about outlines. You could check the last short video on the channel.

If you create the loops like that..its easier to animate the model. You can search "3D face loops" for more informations.. also you can start with those loops and connect them and create the face..

You probably need to select the scale object and, press Ctrl +A and select "scale", Then it should work.
