Thank you!!! I bought 3 of these a couple of years ago. Sent 1 to my son in TX & shipped the other 2 to myself in St. Croix, USVI...have the parallel kit but left 1 of them with my girlfriend...neither one of them starts after sitting for a year. I'll be trying this!!!

I thought maybe you'd appreciate going on my little fix-it journey with me. I haven't used my tiller in a couple years. I put in some gas to see if it would start. It did. So I went to the gas station to fill up my gas can, because of course I was out. Came home, filled up the tiller and went to use it. When engaging the tines, it would sputter and die. I figured I should fill up with oil so I don't ruin the engine. But of course I didn't have any 10W30, so back to the gas station for that. Fill up the oil, start it again, let it idle awhile, and it didn't die. Go to engage tines and it dies. So I'm irritated and start looking up potential causes/fixes and came across this video yesterday. I planned on trying this once I was done being irritated at the thought of having to try and do this. It took me until today. So the next step was to go searching for all my tools. I have teenage/young adult sons, so of course I buy a lot of tools but can never find them when I need them. Found the socket set which has only 1 socket missing, which is probably the 1 I need, but we'll see. Couldn't find my crescent wrench, so go upstairs to ask my son if he used it. He says no. I start complaining about never being able to find my tools when I need them. He just kinda shrugs. As I'm talking to him, I notice the crescent wrench amongst the mess on his desk. 🙄 He says, "Ohhh, I'm sorry! I forgot I used that a long time ago! I love you!" 😑 Anyway, that brings me to now, gearing up to go see if I can fix this, but procrastinating by writing this huge comment because I'm kind of dreading it. Also to note, I'm a data engineer who works at a desk on a computer every day. I am NOT mechanical at all in any way, so this will be quite an accomplishment for me if I actually fix it. Stay tuned...

I have always been told that the battery must be disconnected from the truck before you connect the charger. This is supposed to prevent electrical damage to the trucks' systems.

Awesome video We got hit hard here in Dallas and I have this Ryobi I got back in 2019. I let a guy borrow it more than a year ago. We’re without power and he said it won’t start anymore and brought it back. I asked him if he ran it regularly….. “Nope” 🤦‍♂️ Guess I’ll take it apart and give it a whirl. Good detailed video and I’ll let you know if it was as simple as this. For anyone else out there: Exercise your generator!!!! Don’t wait for over a year until the second you need it!!

Great video, the only one I saw that showed the struggle with the air intake tube.

The important connection for the throttle was the elbows and hands. The camera needs to be on the parts.
