  • Just a Quick little video of how to connect a battery charger to a vehicle.
I know that most people can already do it and it is simple to figure out, but there are some that don't know, AND THAT IS FINE, you have to learn somewhere.

I have always been told that the battery must be disconnected from the truck before you connect the charger. This is supposed to prevent electrical damage to the trucks' systems.

I do agree and in a perfect situation I would disconnect the battery from the vehicle but if you're car or trucks key switch is working properly you should not get any feed back into the sensitive electrical components

I take it the battery charger decides which current setting to use (whether it is 50A, 15A, or 3A) and we can change it. Is there a charger where we can set which current rating to use ? Thanks

Thank you for watching yes it does decide what current to use for the dates and safest charge without damaging the battery there are other chargers that allow p you to choose the current the older ones were the best but I haven't really tried any of the new ones but I will definitely check a few out and update you on my results

@@dwaynecastle3356 sorry I just saw this. Make sure that the cables haven't pulled loose from the clamps or aren't corroded off that it's not the case and the cables are not broke anywhere you might have to open it up

@@dwaynecastle3356 I just answered your other question you asked sorry it to so long to get back with you once been out of town for the past week you can buy cable to replace it with it if you have a old charger you can rob the cable of if it is pretty simple to fix I might do a quick video on it when I get home next week
