I would say maybe, depends on situation. After all smoke is very important safety tool and sometimes it's better to keep it just in case, then set it for someone in cruiser You don't know, if he would even use properly.

That's the problem with subtitles my spelling is awful because I learned english from watching TV shows. It seams mistakes are unavoidable for me 😞, hopefully it will not affect video performance, because I can't change it after publishing video. (that's how YT works I can cut this part of video or do new video but I can't change anything )

This new BBs line looks so overpowered when all this You Tubers make their videos, but truth is that people just don't know how to handle them and at the beginning they are played by the cream of players. It's normal they hype people about something and when normal folks buy it, it's nerfed or turns out it was just bait from the begining. Thats why You should never buy early access to ships You can get for free in 2 patches.

It's good ship and smoke make it somewhat new players friendly, thanks to smoke You can make mistake and still have a way to survive. No radar but radars make new players go to close to cap/enemy and die without doing anything.

Well I don't know if that was WG criteria to sort them but it hapend that all defensive skills are towards right side and more offensive tends to be on the left.

Man so many questions: Mission objectives and mission conditions, usually You have on the bottom of the mission symbol of ship You need to use, tiers and mode ( some missions are in random battles some in operations some in clan battles) So You need to check if You got proper tier of ship, class of ship and proper playing mode on. PS. thats why I suggested to play at least 1 dd 1cruiser and 1 bb so You can do enouth missions to complete campaigns, dokyard and events chains.

@@unmated Target selection, choose light cruiser and use either cruiser with good ap or some gunboat dd (german elbing line has strong ap so on light cruisers it's easy to citadel) . Again I don't know what tier ships You got what is this mission specifics etc. so it's very hard to give precise answer.

I will not change my mind mate , sorry but submarines are the reason WOWs is dying, along with CVs. Simply put, You can't have in the game classes of ships that play with impunity. Amount of mental gimnasticks WG did to subs and CVs. Where they are unspotted after diving to max depth, giving them guided torps ridiculous underwater speed etc. Same with CVs, printed planes, You can repair midair, are invulnerable to AA in many stages, fire imunity etc. Shows that theese 2 classes have no place in this game. Theese 2 classes kill any agression in the game, because if You try anything and there is CV on the map or sub near by You will just die. You got no tools to spot submarine 10km away from You and she can torp You whenever she wants. You can't spot or do anything to CV in the corner of the map and You can't defend Yourself from planes (AA doesn't exist in this game). So tell me whats the point of those classes ? so retarded kids can play game called "I can hit You and You can't do shit to me" ?

@@MrLamzes we are all entitled to have our opinions, that's fine, as long as we're civil about it... Here's mine. I don't think wows is dying, with the amount of players I see on queue for all the game modes. Plus at the end of the day it's a business- they have to keep servers up so we can enjoy having a break from the IRL grind, you feel me? That being said I think some of the premium stuff is just too expensive. About subs: we don't have armor. Most of us don't have guns. Our underwater AND surface speed sucks balls and we can't stay down for longer than what the batteries can support. Not to mention we are blind and can't spot anything from deeper than periscope depth. All we have are torpedoes and in order to guide them we have to have godlike aim - I don't have godlike aim nor do I use the sonar lol - or use the sonar left and right and guess what happens when we use the sonar- everyone and their mothers have ASW equipment. We can't launch torpedoes closer than 3km because it would just dent someone's hull and we can't fish from the deep because the torps would need time to zoom up to surface level. It's effectively game over. It's a hard class to play and I don't believe that adding more submersibles will ruin the game - if, and IF they limit ASW equipment to CLs and DDs it would make teamplay that much more important: big battleship protecc smol ship while smol ship protecc big ship from subs. Sub hunt big ship. CV do CV things. I also agree that aircraft should be limited like how the heck does obliterating a squadron of planes not matter at all to a CV? Do they have a factory in that hangar? Was considering going down the US and IJN CV lines because I am a huge history nerd and some naval battles took place in my country's waters, but the unlimited planes kinda make it feel spammy to me.

@@HONGKELDONGKEL1888 I will not argue about submarines but I think your problem with subs is unexperience. You don't realize how much advantage sub get just for having ability to periscope spot and have concealment about 2 km !?! so You are at periscope depth and spot, and anything else is spotted from 5,4 km or more and You sit and spot while invisible. Man it's DD's wet dream to be able to spot from smoke and You have it in subs for free. DDs have unguided, slower torps with longer reload and they manage to hit targets so being unable to hit with guided torps says it all.

​@@MrLamzes yeah i am inexperienced so i'm grinding other lines to see how they behave in order to better fight them. just going to refute some points. 2 km close = that's not a useful range for submarines. 1) torpedo arming distance is 3 km 2) that's well within hydroacoustic and sub surveillance search even at 60 meters depth and 3) submarines get spotted within 6 km on average. couple that with ~12-20 knots submerged speed and that's pretty much a dead sub: too close and can't run away. i think you might be remembering the sub shotgun tactics from some months ago which has been effectively removed now when they made that change. subs have unguided torpedoes by default: just don't use the sonar ping. kek. each ping announces to everyone "i am here" anyway so I personally don't bother with it. they take one glancing hit and she spills all her oil on the water: "here I am follow me". but anyway, submarines are just torpedo-only destroyers that are slower and much easier to kill. best ones i've seen play at 7-10 km ranges and only dive or ping in an emergency.

You as a sub have a range 10 km torps (some subs even more) and If you want You are spotted at 2km (when on periscope depth) so You got 8 km to work when you are not spotted You see everyone and You can attack them at will. even against best DD concealment that is 5.4 km you in any sub still got over 3 km buffer when dd don't see you and You can attack them at will or just dive, if You can't use this it's your fault. Basically You got every advantage handed to you by WG.

HE spam isn't boring, it's a valid, effective choice. Especially against angled targets, thin armoured targets, or when you're AP has no chance to pen. Sitting at the back of the map, behind an island and spamming planes from a CV, without the need to even to worry about things like putting out any fires is boring.

@@user-vz2et1sg8c wasn't change to supercontainers introduced about year ago ? when they give you 2 SC instead of 1 but You can get 1000 doublons and 7 days maximum, instead of 2500 and 30 days ? that would explain difference in your rewards pretty good.

Yes more complicated thing will be covered in later videos, I don't want to bore new players to death and/or overwelm them with to much info. RNG is a bitch and You will never get consistant results in this game. I struggle with RNG all the time and hate that bitch (RNG must be a women, no man would be that spiteful 😃)

For beginners for sure mate, HE will be best until You learn weakspots and hitting specific ship parts. Only exception are BB's where You should primarily use AP and switch to HE only on some occasions.

@@MrLamzes Yep ofc. By the way. I've started playing Kawachi recently and the dispersion is...wildly inconsistent. I think I have to use HE to get any damage.

@@AscalonHauteclere Short answer is yes, first 4 tiers You can use only HE on any BB line, on tier 5 there is big difference in accuracy so people should start using more and more AP.

@@iffracem problem is my upload , I check videos before upload but usually I miss something and YT doesn't allow anything except cutting some part out, so every change means delete old video on YT do changes to your back up copy and upload again (and my upload for 15 min long video can take from 3 to 8 hours when I can't do anything except waiting, my internet doesn't work while uploading)

I'm glad You liked it, I wasn't sure that opening all containers in 1 click was the right choice but I guess some people will like it.

Never belive what WG is saying, that's first rule of WoWs.

I opened about the same number of containers and got piles of flags, economic bonuses and about 30000 Coal. The very first container though had the tier 7 Atlanta in it and one of the last few I opened had Tier 10 Salem. Quite an unexpected haul. However the Salem will be mothballed for quite some time as I have just managed to start playing a couple of tier 6 ships and only just learning to use them. No sense in just becoming a statistic by playing with the big kids on the block too soon.

@@MrLamzes Yes. Both came with level 10 captains. As I said, I could use the Atlanta pretty much straight away, The T10 Salem will have to wait until I can play a lot better than at present. I have only worked my way up to poke my nose into level 6 so far. Your beginner's tutorials certainly help as well. I presume these two ships and others were 'created' for this occasion as I do not see them listed in the Tech trees.

@@MrLamzes Yes I can well understand what you are saying and I am afraid that at the moment with this Salem, its a bit like finding a Lamborghini in the backyard and not having a driver's license. But we shall get there eventually. NOW, who else got real lucky with their Supercontainers?

Learn How to shoot moving targets, practice with DDs or cruisers (BBs reload to long and low tier BBs have terrible dispersion so hard to learn anything). this series is made for people like You and in future episodes I will talk about getting as much XP as possible and getting higher on leaderboard.

@@MrLamzes Thank you, I'll keep a look out for those videos when you post them. Your video on AP/SAP/HE shells was helpful, got me to experiment with some them on my favorite ships.

@@MrLamzes Thanks in advance for the future videos for us new players. Especially one on how to get XP for commanders and preferably faster. Though I do, do the Operations which helps me get a lot of credits and XP. And yes, I had got the Mainz and found that I can aim much better now, as I can see more instantly where my shells will fall, especially on the opening salvo being a complete miss. It only takes like 6 seconds to reload to try again. Now I'm looking at Destroyers as well for practicing positioning and moving around. Suggestion: Maybe you can mention in future episodes possible strategies that new players should use to help them get better at the various ship types. Like using light cruisers with fast reloads need to hug islands, but should help you learn to aim and you might want to use these module upgrades. And if you like stealthy open water play, maybe you'd like a torpedo boat destroyer play, etc.

@@AreJay_Kira There will be videos on how to play dd, cruiser and bb but it will be much later. It's pointless to tell someone who's beginner to do something if he/she doesn't know basics of the game, that's why it takes so many episodes before I get to strategies and tips how to win. Those tips are useless unless You know how to aim and hit yuor target how to play around concealment etc.. Simply put there is a lot to know before You try to be admiral using smart strategies. So I'm not bothering new players with strategies until I explain basics, I think everyone should know.

Atago is great ship at T8 but I don't recommend skiping lower tiers, If You are beginner like You said You need to go all the way from the bottom, there is no shortcut and if You jump straight to T8 premium in random battles You will be destroyed and it will ruin this game for You.

@@MrLamzes True, sadly skipped Tier 5 and have ships in ever tier but superships so far. Most were brought but I find now having played at Tier 8 and 9 so long, that going back down to Tier 6 or lower, is well boring, and the ships perform nothing like the better ships at Tier 9 and 10 do. And yeah I'm new, but after a month of playing I get bored and frustrated when doing low tier ships. Although from your recent video on aiming and shells, I have learned to shuffle the shells, like on a cruiser like Des Moines, I use to use AP all the time, big damage numbers supposedly. But it works out better to use HE for BBs and DDs, but AP for certain CVs and AP/HE for some weak armored BBs and certain Cruisers (CA/CL respectively). So I'm learning

@@MrLamzes - I bet I miss more than you :) important is to have fun !

I used ragnar because it's most accurate ship in the game. At the beginning of video in disclamers I gave You 3 disclamers, that even if You do everything right You still can miss. So in order to show as good of technique of aiming as possible I tried to reduce RNG and dispersion as much as possible. That's why in the video I said that in order to train Your shooting skill You should use DDs and cruisers (they have better dispersion and reload) lower tier BBs will teach You nothing exept fact that You shoot and RNG carries the shells wherever it wants 😁. P.S. There will be seperate episode about dispersion, sigma, penetration etc. but it will be about episode 10-15 when I cover all basics I can think of.

Basic static and dynamic crosshairs show you distance that ship which is 14 km away do when is moving 20kn for static and 30kn for basic dynamic (so they are accurate only for 14 km away any other distance You need to adjust). Smart horizon shows You how much enemy ship will move doing 30kn at any distance (thats why scale is bigger if You aim closer targets, because objects are smaller in distance and bigger when closer to You)

Best way to get premiums is super containers luck, I don't recommend spending real money on pixel ships unless You got nothing better to do with your money 😀

@@cykix9499 Key is You just started, if You watched my beginners guide I recomed to not use flags, don't waste your comander xp on 10 point captains until You get at least tier 5 ship. If You have tier 1 ship or any of T8 T9 special premium ships it's easy to make money in WOWS if You are good player. My money comes from premium account combined with skill, I do around 2k xp per game and with ships like missouri wisconsin or musashi i can reliably make around 800k to 1 mln credits per game. That's how I made my money.

Good, it's really variety that makes WoWs unique, untill You try all main surface ship classes You miss a lot of fun.

@@MrLamzes True, if you started back when the game released or soon after then you grow with it, and you incrementally add more information about the different boats as they release. That's a positive, it keeps the game interesting. Starting now, with all the different boats, gimmicks etc, it's mind-bending, the learning curve is huge. Plus I'm over 60, and had some issues that caused my memory to be stuffed, I can hardly remember what I had for breakfast most days.

@@iffracem True, amount of info in this game is colossal but there are ways to relief Your memory with add ons, in-game ship info and few tricks. Thats why I'm always big fan of all mods that improve quality of life in WOWs.

Hehe I don't play them and really advise everyone to drop them aswell. WoWs would be 3 times better game if we don't have them.

No just basic stats determine if ship is a torpedo boat or gunboat. If ship has good guns (fast reload good damage per minute) it's called gunboat. Good torpedos (long range, fast with good damage per minute ) it's torpedo boat. There are some ships with descent guns and torpedos and they are called Hybrid DDs because they combine guns with torps. Same with battleships if they have good close range armor and good secondaries they are called brawling/ secondary battleships, if they have accurate long range guns they are sniping battleships. It's just labels peaple give to a ship depending on base statistics of the ship.

Hmm I'm not sure but it's entirely possible this game was played during bad weather, Poland now under lot of pressure and danger from floods. Thanks mate.

@@MrLamzes I'm stuck on starlink, it's not that good, esp considering the price. Only 10k's out of my states capital city and I have a choice of fixed wireless or starlink. Starlink is better than fixed wireless, but it's just not stable enough for what they charge. Best "ping" I see is 100-150ms I found a lot of stuttering and graphical lags stopped when I turned off my VPN (WG would not redirect to the user account pages if I had it on). It shouldn't have anything to do with it.. but there you go.

@@iffracem US is huge, no wonder it's not ecnomically viable to make infrastructure in rural areas (to big with low population density). Starlink is game changer, I wasn't aware of 100-150 ping which is very bad but: From what I read and heard in internet VPN most of the time is a scam and unnecessary, doesn't protect from anything serious and slows Your PC down. Only VPN use and value is ability to change Your PC location (for example Netflix regions etc.) My conection is bad I usually play with 35-70 ping depends on a weather, day of the week, time of the day etc. When my ping jumps to 150-200 I just go do something else.
